  1. scratch that... got it working thanks though guys
  2. i have the 1/4 inch jack going from the mic to the mixer. but in terms of actually getting it to work, its not making any noise.
  3. hey guys just bought a DJM800 and i have a party coming up this weekend and not sure how to get the microphone working. i have a cable for the mic to the mixer but which port in the back if for the mic to the speaker? please help me asap so i know if i have to go buy more cords
  4. Hey Guys Am Selling my Numark DXM 06 Mixer In Very good Condition Everything including lights work. Looking at $125 Can post at buyers expense Located Greensborough Victoria. can message me on 0437125139
  5. Hey guys Can someone change my Name from odysseyhouse to Jimmy Trent? was going to be my original name but cbf'd thanks in advanced
  6. oh yeah its a handful. I had a behringer DXM750 which i stupidly sold with some cdj400s as a pack but still found that confusing with effects and what not. watched this kid on the djm 400 and seemed easy to learn on, i know djm 600,700 and 800 and the denon are more pro but im willing to learn. ok well looks like its bite the bullet and save for a little while longer
  7. still roughly same price as pioneer though yes? i know a lot of people will just say save, but its hard when u have 3 cars n 2 bikes all with rego around the same times
  8. Thanks GREMM1S. I was watching a guy at a house party over the weekend with the DJM 400 and thought that it would be significantly better than my DXM06 so i think in the meantime before i get some serious skill and money the 700 sounds like a good idea
  9. hey guys. Ideally i want my DJM 800 mixer. but its just out of my price range at the moment and i feel that i'm being held back with what i've got. At the moment i have a Numark DXM 06 and a Spare Numark M4 mixer. I have a set of CDJ1000 Mk3's and want something more suited. Im thinking with the very minimum funds (budget of about $3-400) i have and these 2 mixers to sell that the best i could afford is a DJM 600. any other opinions?
  10. hey guys. looking around desperately for a djm 800 so i can get rid of the numark dxm06 found this set up which was ex club gear on ebay and damaged. cosmetically looks fine just internals what sort of money is something like that worth? or if anyone has any better suggestions for mixers please let me know thanks
  11. yeah was the cable. got a new one
  12. ^^^^ That is awesome. I never would of guessed that. and yes it worked. ill take the cable and mic to the store now and get them checked.
  13. tried it with a different mixer... this time got a bit of feedback but no voice from speakers everytime i moved the mic cable.... gayyy
