Yeh the headphones are basically brand new they still have like 21 months of their 2 year warranty still up and still got all the boxes that i got them with and that, so yeh would be willing to split the two in order to get them sold. Get him to give me a PM and we'll organise something. Cheers

Bump $450 o.n.o for both items SOMEONE PLEASE I NEED TO SELL
-
Not using these anywhere near as much as i hoped, and only going to get worse with uni starting soon and then going overseas. I bought the headphones a little over a month ago and have only been used about 5 times, comes with original box, so still has almost all of the warranty still remaining on it. The DJM i bought off Ebay, is only 6 months old, everything works fine no issues, comes with the box and everything, hoping to get rid off both of the items at the same time. Willing to send interstate but at own cost. Live in adelaide. Looking at $600 o.n.o will be considered

Yeh i'd guess thats the case as the way i have it set up at the moment only its going only as mono just cause i don't have a dual output sound card on my mac, and using virtual DJ as the CDJs, but cheers thanks for the feedback, once i invest in actual CDJs it'll be normal. So don't worry just checked on my computer playback is louder on the side that the track is from.

So after investing nicely in my set up today and getting it working at home tried putting a few beats together and was just wondering about some feed back on what to work on some more and just any general tips. Cheers http://soundcloud.com/sobek-jakub/track-1-part-a http://soundcloud.com/sobek-jakub/track-1-part-b It was meant to be a continuous mix but accidentally knocked the record button which stopped it for a sec, hence the 2 tracks.

It's too short

Worked it out today after buying it its all good works perfectly all i needed were 2 RCA cables and that was it
-
Managed to get my set up forming, DJM 350 few months old $500, brand new Sennheiser HD 25 SP ll - $188 and a new 5.1 Z506 logitech speaker system which will arrive after christmas as there out of stock. Fuck i love JB Hifi's price match guarantee Now just waiting for Pioneer 850-K's to be realised and i'm done
-
Read the conditions mate, i was looking at stuff from JB Hifi just out of interest and there repayments are at 26% p.a, So if you taking you time to pay it off which im guessing you would for something like that, which costs 3.2k, in just 3 months you'll have had to pay an extra $250. So although it might be amazing to get new gear, im sure that if you cut back on going out and the none important bills then you'll be able to save up money quicker and save yourself in the long run

Okay so while im waiting/saving up to get a pair of CDJs my DJM 350 came in the post today and i was wondering how its possible to hook it up to my computer and use virtual dj as the CDJs and just get used to mixing song in together, if this is even possible and what cables do i need to do this. My computer is an iMac and using Virtual DJ 6.0.1

Just got word back from the guy selling them about specifics. He's had the 2 900's for 2 months so still basically full warranty on them, only played once, all boxes and everything with them like they would be brand new, no cosmetic faults. for this Does 2.2k sound like a good deal for a pair of 2mnth of 900s? Cause this'll set me back just a few couple hundred more then new CDJ 850-Ks if that depending on whether Pionner decide to release them cost the same as the silver model.
-
Okay well this blows, no where in Australia are the CDJ 850-K's being sold. JB have gotten back to me saying that and priced the silver 850s at $1169, but they will have to price match if not beat the price of dj warhouse and dj store where they are there for around $940. I also currently have a guy from eBay that i'm enquiring to about who has only used his 900s once, and is asking for 1.1k a piece i was wondering if i can get him down to around 1.8 for the pair would if be better to go straight for the 900s then the 850s if i manage such a deal ?

Cheers mitch helped out a lot in that other tread, but can i ask or am i not allowed to here, that smiley face that everyone basically gets when there new, is that a condom he's meant to be wearing as a hat ?

Was listening to ASOT #536 at the time and Lumi - Dreas vs Alex Robert happened to be the track playing at the time, and being so creative and unable to think of anything else that was the first thing i saw and decided on it. Names Sebastian, Seb's easier, thinking to be known under Jakub my middle name just sounds better, Seb gets people confused too much, been called sam, seth, sab, sob and countless other weird names that people think they've heard. My first and last name don't ring all too well together. So reckon Jakub spelt the proper way the polish way the way to go

Alright cheers for the help on everything guys, just sent off an email enquiry to JB about the CDJ 850-K so hopefully in two or three weeks time once i get all my christmas and birthday monday along with all the public holidays coming up at work will be able to invest in them. Once again cheers for everything and hopefully i'll be able to get my name out there soon

Well i thought all well and good to have all this super duper shit at your finger tips that makes you able to do all this amazing stuff, but whats the point if you haven't learnt your basics to that level that its just automatic, instead you need a button that means you can never stuff up a loop or don't have to adjust bpms to the beat, which brings me to a question. Learn what is the best way to mix differing BPMs is it to change the pitch before playing the song so that the BPMs match up, or is it better to as i've watch on one youtube video to pitch and adjust until the beat match so you learn by ear when the beats are matched up and then just to be 100% check the BPM counter on the CDJs to make sure there the same?
-
I just did a quick youtube search on the whole quantized loops and correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't it just let you not screw up your loop so you don't have to press out in time? Making it for lazy people who can't keep in time with their loops? Correct me if im wrong but isn't that feature kinda the cheats way to do things just like the BPM lock feature? Well looking at 850s, would it be best to get them 2nd hand or brand new? And i've been looking around haven't been able to find anything really 2nd hand but brand new seen them for around the $950 mark, although going to see if JB hifi have them cause i've seen they have the cheapest prices on everything that i've seen to date in terms of gear, and cash can always get it lower. They come in black now ... Seeing as i've seen them atleast $500 cheaper a pop then 900s which would save me over a grand to go to my mac book, think i'll settle for them, now just to find them and get money from christmas and paid. Thank god i just got handed a 2nd roster at work for an extra 60 hours over the next month on top of what i already have
-
Well the toss up is between spending more for the 850s and having decent hardware for a long time but if i don't feel it then i've just taken a massive amount out of my bank account or do they hold their value fairly well? Or get 350s which are a fair bit cheaper but might have me wanting to upgrade soon. Can you still use rekordbox on the 850s?? Just not for dvs?
-
So im not sure if i'll be posting this in the right place so sorry, was tossing this up between beginner and the gear section so yeah ANYWAY The issue that i'm having is i'm not sure which CDJs to invest in. I have bought myself a brand new/2nd had DJM 350, barely used still has 2 and a half years on warranty. Now my only experiences with mixing have been with 1000 mk3s, which are sweet from what i remember :/ love their size and everything but they are expensive and don't have the USB compatibility which i was really after, although as a beginner would it be better to get a CDJ with USB functionality, which will FORCE me to burn CDs so i learn my songs better and what not? Back to the gear issue, i was thinking about 350's for their USB compatibility, there also fairly cheap, however the platter is soo small and i like the look of the lights in the middle of the 1000's platter. With this in mind, would it be best to invest in 1000s or 900s or go for 850s which have the best of both worlds for the cheapest, have the big platter and the USB function and most of the other functions that the 900s 1000s have, although i do prefer the black finish to the silver but thats just cosmetic and being kinda anal. SO yeh if you guys would be able to help me out here, looking to get a nice bit of dough over christmas from presents as my birthday is 2 days after on the 27th, so i can afford something. My budget would be around the $1k mark as im not sure whether to get something decent now and then find out its not for me but then don't want to get 350s and find out in a few months that i want to upgrade hell badly. So any tips would be much appreciated guys. P.s Preference is for Pioneer as you may have noticed as i've heard they have the best products, although there may be other CDJs that are cheaper i just have a thing for pioneers from the times that i've used them so far, or is this a stupid/idiotic mindset to have especially as a beginner? Cheers guys

Hey guys, Just new to the whole DJing thing, wanting to get into it and start getting a few mixes together. From SA, used to be heavy into rock and metal and what to somehow learn to incorporate that into djing like pendulum and in flames styles, but i'll see where it goes. Hope to learn as much as i can off the people on here, as im sure there is an insane wealth of knowledge here and hopefully one day can get a gig in some clubs.

FS Canada (loljk Sydney): 2x CDJ 1000s Mk3, 1x DJM 800
Lumi replied to foedragon1's topic in Buy & Sell - Gear
Hey mate, would you consider splitting the CDJs from the mixer 1. 2 how much ball park figure would you want for the 2 of them? And 3 would it be possible to post them to SA if everything else worked out? -
Yeh mate if he could separate them that would be great as just today i bought a basically brand new DJM 350, so yeh just the CDJs would be all im looking for. If you could reply with his details or to make sure that they don't get spread around the net you can pm them to me and i'll get in contact with him.

Getting into DJing after mucking around a bit on a friends 1000s but was thinking that it would be better to start of with something cheaper then getting 900s or 1000s. So just got my hands on a brand new DJM 350 nice and cheap so wanting to find a pair of 350s to play complete the set up, mainly for the USB functionality. I'm in SA and want a nice present for christmas and my birthday which is two days after so hoping someone here can help me out. Cheers
