    My house music experience started when I was seventeen. A friend of mine gave me mix tape that a local dj had put together. The mix tape consisted of gorgeous deep house tunes such as Sweeter Love by Blue 6, Always by Miguel Migs and Lisa Shaw, Bring you up by Romanthony, No Going Back by Fresh and Low, Shades of Jae by Moodymann to name a few. I was instantly hooked. After listening to more of this beautiful music especially Greg Dowling and Shane Johnson's (Fish Go Deep) sweat mixes I decided that I had to have a go at djing myself. So for my 18th birthday I bought decks,a mixer and started collecting records. I've now been collecting House Music for nearly 10 years and my love and passion for it is as great as ever. I've played gigs all over Cork City in recent years and in January 2008 I won the Battle of the Dj's at University College Cork here in Ireland. I also embarked on a trip to Australia where I warmed up for Dj's such as Norman Jay and Sonny Fodera as well as playing alongside my good friend and PureHouseMusic.net head honcho Ollie Brooke. After spending some time back in Ireland I've now returned to Australia with my wife. I'm hoping to get my own productions up and running soon so watch this space and keep an eye out for new mixes too.

    2 x Technics turntables, 2 x denon cdj's and a Behringer DJX700.

    Hey Richie, did you end up purchasing the djr400? What are your thoughts and if I may know how much did it set you back? I've got the Urei 1620le and very happy with it, although I need to invest in an isolator at some point (at pretty much the same cost as the mixer itself). Hey man. No I'm quite a way off from buying it. Must fill up the piggy bank a few times first. The mixer itself is about $3000 aud last time I checked. The price depends on your requirements though but thats a ball park figure. I have a few buddies back in Ireland who've got the Urei along with the E&S isolater. All very happy with it. Definitely worth the money. These things are made with care to your own needs by Jerome. I've only heard good/great things about the E&S range.

    No worries Andy. I downloaded that Feb Fling one. I'll give it a whirl later after work. www.purehousemusic.net has free mix hosting so no worries about having to delete mixes to upload more. I use the free soundcloud option too but only as a tool to point people towards my purehousemusic.net page.

    I'm looking to get a djr400 myself. Big bucks but well worth it I'd say. Designed and handmade by Jerome Barbe and DJ Deep in Paris. Custom made to your needs too. I'm prob a few or so off from getting one due to the cost but can't wait to get my hands on it.

    Anyone have a djr400??? I'm looking to buy on of these beauties in the next few years. They're a serious piece of kit and expensive too but I just love the simplicity of it and I have read many reviews on the net and I haven't read one bad thing about them.     Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to this forum. I'm from Cork in Ireland but have been living in Australia since June 2011.     Lol. Only discovered these guys recently. Their album Soul Machine is top notch and part 2 ''The Remixes'' has some great stuff on it too. You'll see another two tracks by them on my new mix too. Check it out. The mix is called ''The Good Stuff''.
