FYI there is a statement from the dude about that. She apparently had been doing it before the video starts, first time he nicely told her to stop, second time he told her to stop, and mentioned that if she does it again, he won't ask her nicely. Third time he was in a layered mix and she grabs his headphone cord, so he flips. Tbh, anyone trying to talk to me while I'm mixing is annoying, not to mention in a live environment. How many of you try to have a convo with your doc when they are listening to your lungs? or how about someone who's on the sportsfield? ever tried having a chat to a boxer in the ring? same deal....

the contraption thes one has at about 45:00 springs to mind when I think about this

Ok, so I have been running off my roland ua4fx for a while now, It's perfect for being portable and supplying phantom power where I need it, but I just need MOAR inputs now.. I need a new mixer. for my inputs I need: 8x inputs for my track outs on my mpc 1k (might end up only using 4, but 8 would be nice) 2x inputs for master outs on mpc 2x inputs for master outs on my pioneer djm-909 (dj setup) 1x input for mic for vocal recording (needs phantom power) If I get a 16x channel mixer, I would have 3 tracks spare for other things, however I have a dreadful feeling I am forgetting something... Anyway, onto mixer reccomendations! I have been following the release of the behringer iX1642USB and friends recently, and they look like they have been getting solid reviews. I am aware that Mackie and Alto have got iPad mixer's in their range, however behringer mixers have always been solid from experience... If anyone has used any of those mixers, have mixers to recommend, or can think of inputs I have missed then please post!

I call shenanigans, but whatever... Opened a gig for 'Savage' and 'DJ CXL' to a total of 0 people not including staff. Not all bad though, because they still played the respective sets, and everyone got to meet and greet them (was about the time that 'Swing' got big in NZ). also played at an event that ended up with about 200 bottles being thrown over the fence @ people etc, that was a hectic night, lol.

and my gf took it, so not achal #pubselfies (although I considered it)

if the CDJ's are like any of the other pio stuff, having a white set is just a matter of finding the OEM stickers and painting the metal covers

give me small scale stickers for phone pls

Pop filters are to stop the 'pop' effect you get by shooting air out of your mouth at high velocity into the mic (specifically on 'p', 't' and 's' sounds). A good pop filter won't change the background noise at all, so this isn't what you want.

I'm not going to get excessively drunk on a Sunday this is probably not a bad thing...

yeah, changing the resistor makes it turn on and off, like i said it's something to do with the snubber circuit by the looks, but its hard to tell. The switch itself is fine...

FYI dude, the 1mohm resistor makes it work as normal, im just waiting to see if it makes sense to leave it in as a long-term solution

Just going to write a 'journal' about a problem I've run into with a turntable (won't say who's unless they say themselves). It's a mk5 imported from japan, which means it only has the single voltage, for some reason it doesn't respond to the power switch being on or off. I have taken it apart, and all the components look fine, however, the circuit remains closed even if the switch is in the 'off' position. The switch has been de-soldered, and tested and it works fine. The problem appears to be in the snubber circuit (the resistor and cap in series) on the power PCB, as the on/off switch works fine when the circuit is broken. I replaced the 4.7ohm resistor for a 10, and the same result occurs, placed a 50ohm resistor in and same. Placed a 1kohm resistor on it and it burnt in a few seconds, however, I placed a 1mohm resistor on it and operation appears to be normal. I can't think of any reason that this would happen out of the blue, but the turntable has had an LED replacement recently which may have changed a few voltages, but I shouldn't have to change a resistor from 4.7 to 1m....strange....

I tend to agree with you russ, I'd feel ripped off going to see SHM and them not doing anything but jump around and getting drunk. also, sneak has been around for aaaaaaaaaaages, and only recently started giving these guys (and these guys specifically) shit, so once they are gone I have a feeling he won't jump at anyone else..
