  1. skank has some fidget stuff in his mixcloud link in his signature. youtube 'afrojack' to get an idea of the dutch stuff.
  2. fucking sick of shitty noobs buying equipment, then stealing music to feed hobby. the new CR2 ibiza 2010 album cost all of $18.99 on beatport, and you get about 62 tracks. thats about 30cents a track. start with albums like that, and you'll have heaps to mix with in no time.
  3. highly recommend these decks, I bought 2 recently and am very happy with them. good luck with the sale
  4. DDM4000 is shithouse, get something else. urei + vestax are good too
  5. djtechtools has that wicked arcade vci-100... they are sweet I played with the reloop midi controller the other day and it was solid as. I'd buy one easily if thats what i was after. I still think midi controllers are boring, and get much more enjoyment out of cdj's. Have you considered finance through one of the dj stores? it's usually 25% deposit and interest free over 12 months... a cdj400 pack or the denon one would prob cost you $40 a week or so... both can connect to your laptop as well.... just a thought
  6. i bought a pair of 3700's the other day. I couldn't justify the extra money for rekord box and slip mode. this all means extra $$ to spend on tunes, which is the whole reason we're into this shit right?
  7. is the rmp-3 cd their top of the line? If so, i'd spend my money else where
  8. I hope you're right. Narrowed it down to the cdj900 since i found out it has waveform display, and is capable of being used as a HID in traktor in the latest version. Still haven't got a solid answer if the kontrol x1 will work in with them or not. I might need to do some custom mapping, which i wasn't wanting to do. I might try the NI forums and ask there.
  9. i'm going to be getting new decks in the coming weeks (hopefully not months) and I plan to use them with traktor (looking at dns3700, cdj900 and 2000). I also plan on buying a kontrol X1 to control effects/hot cues/load tracks so my question is.... am i going to have problems/conflicts using this much external control? my only experience with kind of thing in the past was with a BCD3000 on it's own, which was almost plug and play so the controller thing is a bit new to me. any input is appreciated cheers
  10. thanks
  11. no worries mate I might have to hit up beatport and grab that song myself.
  12. just ad a listen to your 'nu tech stylez' mix skank. I liked it alot anywhere I can d/l it?

  20. ooooppppps sorry, i didn't see the traktor bit.
  21. yes you can, i've seen it done on a video somewhere (maybe youtube). I think it was using mixxx or some other software. It worked, but it looked pretty shit. in short, your better off going with something like torq if you're on a budget, or second hand serato will set you back less than $500.
  22. frederico franchi - cream always gets people moving...
  23. are you warming up, peak time or later on?
