FYI - I use a core duo (the old ones) with 2gb on snow leopard with traktor pro and it works perfectly. core 2 duo would be fine, but yeah, more ram can't hurt.

I know there are heaps of acts out there that have 2 or more members, but only recently i've given it some thought. How exactly does this work? Do you just take turns in mixing? do you use multiple pairs of head phones? is there some sort of etiquette you should follow? For those of you that DJ or have DJ'd as a duo, please tell me about your experiences, good or bad.

FYI - current is measured in amps. I'm assuming you're talking about a laptop charger? Basically the answer is yes... it will still draw power from the mains, as there will still be some (very small amount) load, but no where near as much as when it's plugged in. load = resistance = heat

The emulator for traktor is only $75... If the touch screen thing in the video is a reasonable price, then i will definately buy one. Got a strange feeling that it will be stupidly expensive.... add this to the new purchases thread

slip mode only protects against drunks stuffing up your beat matching

if you can't afford the 900s, get the denon 3700's. They are awesome
