  1. I'm glad to hear that it has a very clean sound, this is probably #1 on the list of features. Hopefully it will be as good as my urei that i'm currently using.
  2. have you used hdj2000s or hd25s?
  3. ^ how do you find the shure headphones?
  4. spank records... they are fucking awesome. I've bought from them before
  5. still happy with the standard mapping so far. its looking like I'll be buying TSP and another one of these by the end of the year
  6. I've got ESI nEar 8" monitors and a 10" sub, and it's probably over kill. best advice I could offer is get the 8" fostex monitors, they still work nicely at low volumes. Anyway, in answer to the OP, I've used ripped versions of just about everything and if it's worthwhile I buy it. Hacked/ cracked software is shithouse and generally isn't worth the hassle.
  7. its also US$350
  8. I've recommended them before and i'll recommend them again.... denon 3700s!
  9. hopefully we'll see these for $1500 or less compared to the djm800, they are the same width and slightly shorter and slightly lower. in other words, this will fit in an RC3 road case with my 3700s happy happy happy PS. hurry up with your review (which will be biased ) on this mixer
  10. these are top TTs, I used to own one. Same motor as the st150
  11. sweet as... whats the price going to be on these? send it my way once you're done playing ps. are these the same dimensions as the djm800 (for road case purposes) ?

    netbooks

I bought an eee pc (asus) ages ago. It's the linux version with a solid state HDD. I rate it for a good portable little computer that is capable of web browsing and emailing.
  13. I like to mix house in all it's wonderful forms, and when I make a mix tape I like to start with some tech house then move to vocal house then to some more banging stuff ie. electro etc.
  14. The board isn't available yet (well it wasn't a few weeks ago ) and the touch screen software for traktor was about $70 or so
  15. hey matt, i asked you on ITM about the time code thing with traktor... just wondering if you guys have had a chance to test it yet? ie. the 3700s also, who is stocking the dnx1600? The places I'd usually buy gear fromdon't have them listed on their website
  16. how about you just go ask some of your female friends to do it? You do know girls right? LOL
  17. so far we've got 2 votes for each.... hmmmm
  18. the new traktor s4 or traktor scratch pro? I'm looking at buying either, and just wanting people's opinions as to what they would buy if they were in my situation. I currently own 2 cdjs, a mixer, traktor pro and a kontrol x1 and was looking to buy TSP, but since I the pending release of the new traktor, I'm having second thoughts. My aim is to play in clubs, and I will be playing the occasional house party. What would you get if you were in my situation?
  19. that barbara streisand song is awesome, i've never heard it before
  20. I just cast my votes then. tiesto got my vote for international DJ, his shows are just too good.... cheesey, but good
  21. of course I have... I'm fully aware of of the specs in mac's and their equivilently priced windows machines, and I would without a doubt buy a mac time and time again. Until microsoft can come up with an operating system that is as stable and efficient as OSX, I'm sticking with mac..... at twice the price
  22. windows is shit though
  23. would be about the same price then yeah? graphics are the same.... only 'advantages' I can see are aluminium body, and backlit keys, and they look better. CBG, have you seen the cost of solid states? I'd love one in my mac, but jeebus they are pricey.
  24. laid back luke uses ableton these days apparently... not that it matters
