.... are the shit! I road tested these along side the hdj2000s, and these xd's were better overall. the 2000's were more comfortable, but not by heaps. XD's sounded better I went with the xd's and i'm very happy with them. on a separate note, i tested them on a djm2000, and those things are amazing.

I'd be banking on that guy using ableton... Most people have their own opinion on what software is the best, but it all comes down to personal preference. Just try the demos of each and see what you like best and buy it.... then learn the software inside out. I personally went with traktor, and am enjoying it.

^ exactly... was refering to making money to support the website, not really attracting more members. ie. the money gained from a few events will pay for hosting, and then what ever other promotional avenues you decide on to attract more members to this site. put an at on ITM... LOL

find somewhere that will give you free use of their venue, promote the hell out of it, and charge entry at the door. surely you'd know a thing or two about promoting events. I'm assuming you cop heaps of stuff via facebook like the rest of us

great idea but seeing as there are 10 regular posters, about 5 reasonably regular, and about 5 who hang around every once and a while then there probably isn't a massive market for ADJF labeled merch! there'd be like one big splurge by everyone and then thats it. unless you mean start selling DJ related things and hence get the links back to the site. problem with that is buying enuff in bulk to get the wholesale discounts to make any margin. i rection adjf sponsored/ organised events could be a good way to spread the word. i guess its just a matter of getting the bodies and time to organise. things like maybe open deck nights etc. that interview thing is pretty good, get a few more of them out so that fans googling that dj may come across us (though fans may not always be djs) I recon putting on a few nights a year could help out... I'm sure all of the regulars on here wouldn't mind doing a few sets a year for free to support this site? $10 or $15pp for entry should cover a fair bit of the hosting costs for the year. This also would get the name of this website out a bit more as well.

yeah, 7 channels of awesome. sound quality is fantastic, which is why I bought it.

I bought a bcd3000 from them a while back. They were the cheapest around at the time.

I burn one song per CD, through Itunes. Out of the hundreds of cd's I've burnt, I've had one stuff up. I ALWAYS burn at max speed. Invest in good CD's and you'll be fine
