  1. kinda makes sense though... you're talkng about sync lock though, yeah? I'd imagine that pressing sync would get the beat grids in line, but keeping them matched would be entirely up to you?
  2. you can't sync with traktor scratch, using time code? you sure?
  3. hard to tell, but kinda looks like the new denon controller
  4. ^ yeah, my music is pretty much sorted. itunes integration is absolute key for me.
  5. should I consider scratch DUO? anyone used it?
  6. NI website is $660 USD
  7. unfortunately it's $850 now
  8. I was comparing TSP and serato, sorry didn't mean to confuse anyone. currently I have a core2 (NOT duo) 2ghz mac book with 2GB ram and it runs traktor pro alright. things start to get a little funny when key lock is on and the pitch is out by 5 or 6 %.... other than that, no real dramas. serato looks like shit IMO, but I am the type to never judge a book by it's cover. I appreciate your input guys thanks
  9. do any of you wish you bought traktor instead? After copping a lecture from the sales person at DJ warehouse yesterday (all in good humor) he advised me that traktor was a POS and serato was the way forward. I had my heart set on traktor, as i've used traktor for some time now with my kontrol X1, but it got me thinking that he might possibly be right. his reasons were: SL3 is better built... many returns of the audio 8 serato is more stable serato is less bulky (RAM/ CPU hog) the bridge is available now NI updates are late and garbage. basically i'm confused as to what I should get now. So i'd like to hear thoughts from serato owners on their experiences. cheers
  10. you don't know who sarah main is?
  11. does not include serato.... it was on ebay recently and it said it didn't include serato
  12. i've got an album called 'the ultimate dinner party'.... gay, but has been useful I used it at an engagement party, and it was pretty good
  13. I'm looking at upgrading traktor pro to traktor scratch pro, so I will be looking at selling my traktor pro license. Long story short, this is the software only version (no manuals/cds/boxes), so you will recieve 2 serial numbers: one for traktor duo one upgrade serial to traktor pro to buy traktor in the shops, you're looking at $320, and the download version from the NI website is $229USD I will be asking for $150.... and due to the nature of this sale, I would be happy for you to install traktor and enter the serial numbers (in my presence) before handing over any money, for your peace of mind. The NI audio 2 DJ sound card is $100, and is in perfect condition with the required cables. I don't have the box or any documentation.
  14. I do not own this, it is just a heads up for any one that wants one. JB hifi bondi (westfields) has their last demo one on sale for $400. it is missing a few knobs (i think mix and time knobs, and maybe the character knob) which are cheaply replaced. it is in otherwise good condition. BARGAIN
  15. cool, they are wireless ready! I recon give them a go.
  16. if i needed TTs i'd buy it.... i only need traktor

    New XD53's

so a number of people who actually knew a thing or two about mixing had the option of using XD53s and HDJ2000s on the weekend at a party, and EVERY one of them went for the XD53s and rated them much better than the HDJ's.
  22. yeah they are the same as the st150's and 120's very powerful turntables.
  23. ^ well played! LOL
