  1. When you're standing at the back of the crowd looking at him on stage, he's not that big. lol in comparison to everyone else he is.... he'd be close to 7 foot i recon
  2. does anyone know how tall afrojack is? He looks massive.
  3. by turn table, do you mean jogwheels?
  4. mild trollolol's
  5. one potential downfall with these is that they need to be turned up to get good sound out of them. This could be a bad thing if you're in a unit, or have neighbours that complain a lot. I don't have an issue with either, so i'm sweet. I run mine along with a sub as well.... my house shakes
  6. good thinking 99! forgot about this new little toy.
  7. snap... they are the exact ones i was talking about lol.... more expensive than i thought, but they are the ones i have and they are perfect i'm very happy with mine as well.... I wanted the foxtex ones over these, but they were out of my budget. I'm glad I got the ESI ones though, they are very multi-purpose.
  8. mike, are these for production or for djing?
  9. truths are surprisingly one of the better behringer products. I chose these over the truths, because they sounded better to me *note: monitors are often personal preference http://www.djwarehouse.com.au/specials/ ... itors.html PS. read the reviews on the DJ warehouse website
  10. he wants to make a mix in mix meister fusion... i'd leave it at that
  11. where does someone purchase said $5 cd player
  12. traktor... seriously! its $350 at the moment
  13. buy traktor scratch pro while its still cheap, then hunt for a few cheap turntables and a mixer.
  14. my thoughts too
  15. and pro tools
  16. they are probably over kill to be honest.... do you happen to know what the pitch resolution is on the MK1s? I'm presuming its 0.02
  17. logic is mac only
  18. about the same options on each, although pc gets fruity loops and mac gets logic.
  19. you have to pay for mix meister.... that mixmeister program looks the same as DJing with garageband
  20. traktor or virtual DJ otherwise mixxx is free
  21. welcome mate i'm not sure why you think the efx1000 is a mistake? those things are awesome
  22. i hope tiesto plays a better set in other states, yesterday was a little disappointing. This is the the third time i have seen him, and his concerts are way better
  23. yeah, check some of his vids on youtube.
  24. awesome day, my advice is to pick internationals that don't come here very often. I would have liked to have seen infected mushroom also. RE: calvin... I hate to disappoint, but it's a DJ set. I've seen his live show before, and while it's good, I think his DJ set suited the vibe of the festival perfectly.
  25. pretty early on... it was way packed later. My day went a little like this: afrojack - wasn't my thing, left early to the main stage aston shuffle - same crap you'd normally see from them a bunch of stuff in between benassi - awesome set carl cox - really good, much like his other sets. was made even better because the sun was going down. sebastian ingrosso - caught the end. worth watching calvin harris - the surprise package of the day. great set, mainly cause it wasn't all his music.... regardless, i was entertained tiesto - power went out half way through. disappointing set... no where near as good as his concerts. If i had my time again i'd see vilalobos instead
