osx is unix based, so if you're used to terminal, then it'll be the same. people have installed it on normal PC's before, i think there are a few implications in doing it, but i can't remember what. I was going to do it on another laptop running vista, but never got around to it.

FYI- 320kbps mp3s that are burned as WAV are still not WAV quality, despite their size. they are still 320kbps mp3s, but in another format. (not that there is much difference anyway) same goes for burning a 192kbps MP3 as a 320kbps version... it's still 192

you can also buy a holden with the same (or more) horsepower as it's european rivals, at a third of the price.... it's all about the operating system, stability and efficiency are key IMO... I believe mac does this better than windows based laptops.
