  1. the first ever holepunch mix up now... EXCLUSIVE!! lol special thanks to cupe and hoddi for brain storming in ADJF chat.... without you, i just wouldn't be holepunch http://www.ausdjforums.com/modules.php? ... 5621#85621
  2. the very first holepunch mix nod your head to this shit boys and girls. I adjusted the levels and it should be much better... it's on mixcloud now too http://soundcloud.com/holepunch/eofy-mix-mp3
  3. i didn't go there, so can't comment
  4. my mates said east @ broadbeach was pretty good (may have been called north or south LOL)
  5. i recon the cdjs are worth around the $800 mark for the pair and the mixer about $400 ish... if i were after something like that, i'd expect to pay around $1200
  6. perfect setup for a beginner (provided it's all in good condition) cdj800's are much the same as 1000's in feel, minus a few features of course. DJM400s are great little mixers, hdj1000's aren't bad either. you'd have no problems making the transition from this setup to a proper club setup with 1000s and a djm800
  7. ^ at $1011 (current bid) yes, it's good value
  8. that was more what i was getting at
  9. whats with the carry on luggage? have you got interstate gigs coming up?
  10. he wants the reassurance from us knowledgable peeps, before he spends his life savings on something.
  11. first method is how you'd do it on turntables with vinyl.... but yeah, you're correct. most CD players have auto cue, like andyman said, so 999/1000 your track is cued properly at the first beat anyway.

    TOTD?

ohhh this brings back some memories
  13. it's not about scratching, it's about using your decks to mix... but i suppose they have jog wheels anyway. carry on
  14. sol, you get a free scratch upgrade if you buy the S4 in july.
  15. $1k is a lot if it's second hand... and by the sound of it, theres only one (yes you need 2)
  16. oh, forgot you have an NS6.... those things are massive aren't they? maybe one of these
  17. http://www.djtechtools.com/store/bags/t ... 4-bag.html http://www.djtechtools.com/store/essent ... -case.html
  18. 1) correct 2) physical knocks (in extreme cases) cause solder joints to crack/break. usually this would only be the case where the joint wasn't properly formed in the first place due to sub standard quality control. The result would be a button/knob/encoder that doesn't work. to damage the component itself, you'd be looking at a decent hit in a very specific spot. I'd just use a bag that provides decent protection. ..... but you can never be too careful
  19. midi keyboard... that mpk25 that jaz pointed out to me earlier oh, and ableton or something
