the threads get started but no-one ever posts in them. I thought we weren't supposed to talk about music here anyways? you're not, but it's more about the DJ than the music... carry on also, andy is right. keep it positive and leave the jaded negative bagging for forums like ITM.
Email contact@mixedinkey.com and they will help you out I rate it, for someone who has zero music experience, I find it useful.... you'll find tracks that go together that you may not have put together before.
Have a listen, feed back welcomed.... after having a few listens, I pretty much know where i've gone wrong, so will update with an improved version soon http://soundcloud.com/holepunch/holepunch-lips-shooter
James Zabiela is an absolute wizard behind the decks, and is always implementing new technology etc into his DJ sets. if you've got a spare hour, this is probably worth watching. PS. wtf is with the guy wearing white sunnies with a top hat in the "crowd"?!?
nice one mate, i'm keen to hear about your progress and also to have a listen to your mixes. 4 hours is a lot of practice every day.... for what it's worth, you should aim to practice for short periods of time, but frequently.
