  12. i liked traktor.. but i rekon rekordbox is where it's at.
  13. Time code isn't redundant as of yet. I still know a few guys that use it unless it's necessary (ie. old tech like cdj1000s), why wouldn't you just plugin the decks to the laptop and go down that road? obviously i'm talking about a club setting, but if it's at home, then naturally anything goes!
  14. is it just me or is timecode redundant? don't all the pioneer decks work natively (via USB) with serato/traktor now anyway?
  15. bit of a long one, but i love watching LBL do his thing.... i know it's no DMC routine or anything, but i find this entertaining
  16. Heres the full play list
  17. yeah, only 5" I have 8" esi monitors, but you really have to turn them up quite loud to get any sort of clarity. this used to be alright back at mum and dad's, but not quite the same in a small from of a unit I kinda wished I had have bought 5's plus a sub. My 8" monitors take up so much desk real estate. this was a massive factor for me too... zero room
  18. too many shoes in the way

  20. Well I wanted something smaller that worked better at lower volumes, since I live in a unit now.... also I didn't have a whole lot of space to work with either. I was open to anything that fit that description (even considering glorified computer speakers), however I was going to spend the extra on something decent, my top choices were: 1. pioneer SDJ 2. KRK 3. Yamaha hs80 (or whatever the model number is) I ended up with these and am super duper happy
  21. thanks man... I had a good listen to a number of monitors in my budget, and these came out on top. I'm pretty happy with them, they sound amazing
  22. got these on the weekend
