In 27 hours i will be at the soundcheck for dmc. Ox and i are furiously trying to piece together my set! My nerves are kicking hard today!

I run this one with My Maschine software cheap and effective!

I have always used a pci card from M audio called the Delta, but have recently purchased my Native Instruments Z2 mixer which has built in usb sound card. Not sure what to do with it yet as im basically using the mixer as a stand alone unit with my serato SL1 interface.

as you can see this mad whale is helping me out this weekend and the one after is the dmc comp, so i really cant spare much time till after the 24th, but then im like, down fo whatever! Im def keen on getting a production lesson from spitfire and ox. You guys are all welcome to come down to my lab anytime for a mix and a smash on the sampler! (even tho i live in mexico! south of the river)

spent 12 hours practicing on Sat night, I had one of those light bulb moments, where everything you've been trying to figure for years all starts to fall into place, learnt a shitload of new patterns and cuts, here is a quick vid of one of the juggles. Hi there im from perth too, been producing for about 2 or 3 years. I make my beats in maschine, but i used to use FL and am currently learning reaper software. Would be keen to catch up and exchange ideas, theres a few other dope producers on the forum who live here too. Surely we can organize a gathering?? What type of tunes do you make?

looks like i may have purchased the NI Z2 a little prematurely? oh well, I may still get into traktor a bit more once this dmc comp is over with. I am still bummed that they never supported SL1 with serato DJ, feels a bit harsh that all of us who first supported Serato when they hit the market have been left behind!

most of the beats for juggling and cuts i would like to run at about 97-100 bpm. Dont want anything too chill. I have reaper, but honestly havent spent enough time with it to efficiently edit all this shit together. I know you and Ox are well skilled with the way of the Daw.

just got this new pattern down last night, its a half time double fade pattern, inspired by my hero Dj Babu https://www.dropbox.com/s/plq2l5stsmfr5tq/IMG_1525.MOV ive started piecing it all togther in Audacity, but could use some from help from a perth member who is good with Daw's I have to make two tracks with all the cuts and beats in order and stretch some of the beats to keep same bpm. I can do this but i;'m very slow at editing in Audacity. Oxy/Spitfire I'm looking at you Also I'm being interviewed on Goonbag Radio next Monday about the upcoming comp. Will shout out to the ADJF massive!
