  2. they are oh so slippery, like a honeymooners snatch! Well worth the money!
  3. Well ive always had std slipmats with a homemade cutout plastic sleeve, these mats do come with the flying carpets so i'll report back shortly. Hopefully these might give me a bit of grace because the 1200's just arent as strong as my vestax were
  4. Went shopping at storedj today, one of my stylus got trashed at the last gig and im heading to Albany (5 hours south of perth) for a gig this weekend so got 2 new stylus, cartridge carry case and some new slipmats for good measure! Thankgod for birthday vouchers coz i is a broke as ninja atm! Lol
  5. If you look through my folder on the adjf drive there should be a folder called "300 drum breaks" or something like that. Learn to slice up an 8 bar break on to the pads then have some fun rearranging a new beat. This vid should explain it better than me, lol
  6. Cheers guys, i cant believe i forgot about sneaker pimps, becoming x has been raped in my car for years! And morcheeba are dope too, got to see them and james brown in the same year at good vibes!
  7. Just thought i'd start a thread about trip hop. As you know im stuck in the nineties, 2 of my favourite artists from that time were Massive Attack and Portishead. Besides maybe goldie i have never really found any other artists in this genre that i like. I know you learned chaps must have a few names for me to chase up? Ok go....
  8. This can also lead to my fav activity on the decks (as everyone knows lol) Beat juggling!!!! http://youtu.be/oWZofBJqpYk
  9. Babu lord of the juggle! http://youtu.be/a0_Dwlnfboc
  10. Might have to give it another go eh! Lol

  13. Nah, it would have to be typed up, with my mixer i had to send a picture of my reciept from storedj and the serial number card. So they can prove you bought it from the reg user, unless he had already deregistered the serial, then you will be fine.
  14. Yeah nice one! Any time i've had trouble with any of my NI stuff the phone support from germany is awesome, my z2 mixer was ex demo and some muppet had registered it. NI support had it sorted in a matter of minutes! Stoked you have a maschine too! Few of us here with em now.
  15. ^this guy! <3
  16. Think im gonna get my phase logo done too!
  17. Me too!
  18. Beatless, even if its not de registered, if you do buy it, have the seller sign an invoice to you and you will need the orig serial card that comes in the box.
  19. Sup! Welcome
  20. I often feel swamped too mate! So many ideas and things i want to do as an artist, but regular life and work are always in the way! Only really this year have i started pushing for gigs, which always end up in me trying to prep the night before and stressing about my routine, which kills the fun of doing what you love. All i can say is keep practicing, listen to as many styles of music as you can when you get the chance, and if you figure out a plan that works, let me know! lol
  21. this is a sad day for turntablism! RIP vestax and i just sold my pdx 2000's to a mate for cheap!
  22. More Patton Gold
  23. Which songs of Sublime? I've got a fair amount of their stuff too. Is there a sub-genre of Metal fused with Hip hop? cos i was gonna say it sounds like Slipknot has some influences heading that way... In my eyes Rage against the Machine started it all, they may not have a dj, but damn Tom Morello is close enough, and Zac De la Rocca is one of the illest to spit rhymes ever!
  24. i would have MIke Patton's babies! he is a musical genius
