Serato is always my preference, I have traktor built in to my z2 mixer, and damn it would be much easier without the external sl box to connect thru, but I haven't yet done a gig with traktor purely because I need many more hours experience with the software and it has sooooo many features! My main gripe with Traktor is the layout, imho the record/platter icons should be bigger and si metrical and the wave forms should be running side by side like serato. Surelybthis makes sense for visual beat matching? I know we all like to think we can do it purely by ear, but lets face it, sometimes when you're a little tipsy or your foldback/booth monitors are too quiet, being able to see at a glance your kcicks and snares matched up is a great help. Traktor had its pros as well, browsing is better, the fx are much better and once I got my software up to date, the tracking is slightly more accurate too. I plan to spend more time on traktor, as more people are using it for dvs at the gigs ive played recently. Serato was the std for a long time in hip hop tho. My Z2 was half the price of any rane mixer with serato inbuilt and I feel has a better feel to it and build quality. Either one gets the job done and I have seen amazing shit done on both! Lol

Dad made me a dope banner for the lab! and a drop curtain with my new logo as well, here it is in action at the wedding i did last wekend. Also scored a macbook of my old lady! now a dedicated serato laptop. But i cant seem to install traktor? says i need os 1.8 or some dumb apple shit! lol

Well i made a stand, gave myself a crash course in editing and came up with this...... hope you like it eggs! and the rest of you too haha made the stand from tube aluminium and plastic connectors available at bunnings, cheap enough prob cost about $20-$30

I've heard from a few sources that have had teething problems with the first run, 2 had to go for repair as the end of the tone arm was not manufactured properly and it bends the pins on your cartridge when you try to lock them in???? i was also a bit suss on the amount of platter wobble when i had a raz on them at storedj i love the 3 pin kettle cord connector and the gold rcas tho. and who doesnt like pretty blue lights lol! still think i'll wait to see if these are still produced over the next few years before i shell out for that name i'm not too fond of (remnant of working in car audio, Pioneer is shite!) lol
