oh yeah, mine are 1200 mkII i guess they are pretty old, they have the halogen pop ups no quartz lock and they click in the middle of the pitch fader. Again thanks heaps for the info. Hi mate, went to Oxy's house the other day, his tt's look dope! I dont want to paint the platters on mine, but i'm keen on converting the leds to blue. I am pretty handy with a soldering iron and know basic electrics, I was wondering if you could recommend a place to source my led's the obvious is Jaycar, but without pulling mine to bits first, do yu know off hand what types i need, and how many of each? Aslo the strobe has me intrigued, is it a special led? or just pulsing the std type? Cheers Wrx

This is due to your 3.5mm input being a 'mic' in and not a 'line' in. A mic input has the pre-gain set a lot higher as it's designed for having a mic in it. A line level input is designed for a line level input (funnily enough) such as an ipod, mixer, etc.. It may be switchable in your audio drivers (sometimes but not always), otherwise an external card is the only way to go this is achally new info for me too. Thaks man

TBH I saw Madlib and penut butter some years ago, and it was the shittest gig ive attended. Which really broke my heart as I dig everything Madlib does. Mind you being in perth we prob got them after a week long bender! my 2 cents.
