sorry that was sunday* my bad. just took me a day longer to get organised. and that was with the sql error thing. ive stopped getting them now (my last one was sunday) any ideas what caused it?

OK so here is a rough timeline of when i recieved the SQL errors over the last day (note i dont normally go on adjf this often i just jumped on and off to check for the error Monday 0728-no error 0900-error 1104-no error 1212-no error 1300-no error 1530-no error 1620-no error 1630-error 1645-error 1652-no error 1740-no error 1820-error 1824-no error 1935-no error 2200-no error

i have had it come up for like 3 days now, i find it happens more often between 4 and 6pm. ill keep track of when it effects me and post it tomorrow

i just bought 1 djm mic 2 level knob. just thought everone needed to know

yer i dont really like the look of them in white. think they look far better in black. and u watch they'll be 'limited edition' for now. then 2 mths later they'll make 50000 more units and make millions.

it looks like a good piece of kit. get any of that plasticy feel that comes with alot of the controllers? especially in jog wheels and faders? ide be interested to see how it holds up against some wear and tear. keep us posted.

ok so now the issue is i had to move somethings, unglug it to take my laptop away then when i came back plug in the audio 2 and try to press play on the track and it doesnt do anything. whats the go

i think im almost there. i think atm its a traktor config thing.

ok heres the update. Big + i can get some audio through the mixer when i put imput 1 into cd. i can control eq and effects for that channel. Problem is. a) no channel 2 and the levels still doesnt register. now when i turn everything max up for channel 1, the levels just start then. now i know something is wrong because its f*^&in loud and to only just register on the level meter is rediculous. Now im trying to troubleshoot whether the fact that channel 2 doesnt work is a mixer or traktor problem but ill keep you posted. *update* so ive worked out whats going on with the channels. so now all that remains are two things 1) why dont the levels come up? 2) i thought mixer control was meant to register in traktor (or does this only happen with midi controllers? if so this is ok im just curious.

i thought they were meant to go into the line/phono? not the cd... and i knew it was possible, now im just trying to get it to work

yes i have done that already. was the first thing i checked.. ok heres a question for you. when i go into audio set up i click 'audio 2 dj (ASIO)' and it doesnt come up with any 'not connected' things. but when i exit audio setup and the open it again the audio device has switched to 'traktor audio 2 (ASIO)' any ideas why it would be doing this? and if so, could it be causing the problem?

well the soundcard now appears to be working (i can plug headphones into either imput and i get sound) however when i plug line A into line 1 onto mixer and line B into line 2 on mixer i get nothing from the mixer. does not register in traktor, does not output sound to speakers. any ideas?

ok so i want to just operate an external mixer (djm 400) on traktor pro 2. bought the audio 2 soundcard. plugged it in (into line/phono on channel 1 and 2 respectively on mixer) and into my computer usb port. installed the cd. went to preferances and audio setup and the audio 2 dj option wasnt there as i was told it would be. so i downloaded the driver software online and reinstalled it. audio 2 dj option is now there. so i select it and it says in brackets 'not connected' or 'please connect and select an audio device'. so whats going on. please help!

it is sellers responsibility to ensure the item is posted. as far as a court would be concerned. if you have payed the agreed price, and they have posted to an agreed address then they wont be liable and harassing them will get you no where. if your skeptical whether or not it was posted. get them to email u a photo of the reciept they got from auspost when they posted your item. if they cant do this (ie claim to have' thrown it out' or 'lost it') then they must supply other proof of postage. but seriously buyer. if your paying 4.5 grand and having something posted, couriered, watever. have it registered with tracking! as was stated earlier. its like $4. and if its not then u can get screwed by Auspost as actually agreeing to post via Auspost you agree to their terms and conditions which state that items can go missing and this is occasional consequence of public dealings. all this asside. what you can do. ensure it was posted ring AusPost. because things do turn up look for source mail. (ie the item was recieved somewhere. your looking for the centre that it was posted too. you can find this out by contacting sellar and asking them to go down to their local Auspost and checking exactly which other Auspost centre the item was posted too) start talking about compensation. regardless of what is stated in T&C there is a responsible service agreement covered under state consumer law. (as AusPost does exist as a business)

wow thanks. seriously think all this info should be summised and put in a topic at the top of the beginners forum as im sure (seeing as many people new to djing will visit it first, and alot of them will be poor and going for a digital setup) that it would be a very useful reference point

ok thanks for that man, i think its just going to be easier to pick up like an audio 6 or something. if i was to get the audio 6, then i could use it to convert the cdj400's and djm400 (when i eventually get the cdj's) into like a midi controller for traktor, or would i need more channels?
