i think when you hit #bigtime status you are expected to conform to a particular 'sound' that you have created/modified/customised to suit your ear. not saying you wont get the opportunity to play other stuff its just when people rock up to your shows (say your a trap producer) expecting you to play some dirty trap that you are known for, alot of people mightnt appreciate when you play some crazy trance or chill dnb set. while alot of people go to events nowadays to say the have 'seen' a particular musician. there are still many who dont like change, they will attend to hear you play that trap, and in all fairness if you produce/are known for that, thats what you should do (at least in part) as they are your fans and they'll certainly appreciate. when all of this is said tho, the true fans will appreciate your musical fans no matter what you play. when you can rock up to a gig and be so in tune with the crowd that you can play anything and they will vibe it, then you know you have hit that sweet spot.

And located in Wagga so nobody is ever likely to want to pick them up. pretty standard looking scam in my opinion. good price, seems legit, some lad in sydney will buy thinking the guy is just an idiot, pay to have it posted via freight. realise in 2 weeks he's been scammed and will be alittle wiser for the experience but about 4g poorer. im going to message him a) about pickup and if he'll do 3k if i can pay today and have it posted and see what happens haha -

yeah the price is definately good if its legit he undervalues them and fails to mention they are cdj 2000 nxs which would make the sale more valuable my opinion is #stolen -

i believe we just witnessed the definition of 'experimental' i fell like add a disclaimer 'no vinyl was harmed in the making of the movie' and it could almost have been a comedy. specially at end haha but was seriously trippy though. cant say ive ever seen anything like it

do you have any lower priced subs to recommend? thanks for the info though a sub is going to set u back as much (if not more) as the speakers be prepared for that even a behringer series sub will do the trick. while they will be alot heavier than other brands, again bang for your buck its hard to go past them otherwise ide highly recommend a mackie system (mackie thumps etc etc), they do intermittedly do some crazy deals where i have seen speaker/sub combos as lower price as the as we have discussed.
-
ive used a pair for alittle while (probs on 2 years now). overall i think they are pretty great speakers for the price i have found though, that they arnt as robust as other brands (say db or mackie) and sound quality does deteriorate over time that being said. i have worked the living fuck out of them. blasted at a tonne of gigs. i would definitely rate them for their size, portability, general sound output for the price there simply arnt many competitors. you will need a sub though. if you want any sort of low end for parties or gigs, they simply do not even come close to replicating the magnitude of low end that a sub brings
