  1. Cheers Was keeping an eye on the forums while I was away, not doing comps anymore?
  2. I sold my gear late last year, went travelling for 6 months (Jan to Jun). Got home and got a new job, bought some new gear to get back into things. Still got my roadcase and headphones from my previous setup. Will be getting some new monitors in a couple of months as well.
  3. It will fit the 10" cd players, there's spacers etc that came with the coffin to fit the smaller players. I had the 900 in there so if it's the same size or smaller it should fit. I put it on gumtree for $150, they are about $300 new
  4. It's all sold, except for the road coffin (which is up on gumtree)
  5. Hardly used and in perfect condition, includes all cables, box etc. The guys that made these have bought back the rights to the software etc and already released a new firmware for it and they plan to keep doing it. $250
  6. I've been running 8 for a couple of months (get early access through work) and I've found it more stable than 7 Microsoft is giving out the Media Center Pack for free if anyone wants it, you dont need a windows 8 key to get the feature pack http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wind ... ture-packs
  7. At the end of the year I'll be moving overseas and I'm trying to limit what I take with me. I still have the original boxes for everything, everything was purchased back in Jan 2012. The CDJ's and DJM have spent their whole life in the roadcase (except for me taking these pictures). Over the last 6 months or so it's seen very little use as I've spent quite a few months overseas this year. Currently looking for $5000 for all of it. Everything is pickup from Perth at the moment, I'll consider splitting the CDJ's and Mixer from the rest if there is a buyer for all of it. 2x Pioneer CDJ 2000 1x Pioneer DJM 900 Nexus 1x Litecase road coffin to suit the above 1x Pioneer HDJ 2000 headphones 2x M-Audio CX-5 Studio monitors 1x Stands to suit the Studio Monitors 1x Ikea breakfast style table to sit everything on Pictures: http://members.iinet.net.au/~devvyn/DSCN1234.jpg http://members.iinet.net.au/~devvyn/DSCN1241.jpg http://members.iinet.net.au/~devvyn/DSCN1244.jpg http://members.iinet.net.au/~devvyn/DSCN1247.jpg
  8. It may not tick the boxes for you regarding the number of drives but the HP Microserver could be an option, I have two of these acting as HTPC\Servers running Windows 7 Media Center. I've put a RAID card in there to give me 4x2TB drives in RAID 5 for hard drive redundancy, some people have even got 9 drives in these things. You can find the base unit for around $250 online (www.staticice.com.au) http://n40l.wikia.com/wiki/HP_MicroServer_N40L_Wiki
  9. They all look good for price, but personally for me they all lack a full HD screen, anything less than 1920x1080 and I don't want anything to do with it now days
  10. Dj Factory? Always found them to be rude, overpriced and never cared about you or what you wanted to buy. Not to mention their overpriced DJ tutoring
  11. I was in the market for a new laptop as at the end of the year I'll be travelling + contract working around the globe so I wanted something bigger than a 13" MBA but portable. Just picked up an Asus N56VM (i7, 4GB, 750GB, Full HD screen, Nvidia GT630, Blu-ray) for $1200 including a extra 1 year asus warranty. Currently installing my own Windows 7 copy on there now
  12. You will need a license to use traktor on your laptop. Basically download and install the djm 900 tool from pioneer, plug the USB from the 900 into your laptop, use the tool to set the channels etc and use the traktor setup wizard to get it going. You'll still need 2x more USB ports to use the CDJ in HID mode as well.
  13. Still no advanced HID for CDj's, thinking of moving to serato now because they won't implement it
  14. Played at my cousin's 40th house party last night, as it was a mix of friends and family I got my parents to drive and got a bit smashed. He hired a portable dancefloor\lighting (http://ragtag.com.au) which gave it a good atmosphere. The guy that owns it stayed for the night and we had alot of fun. There wasn't many over 50, mostly 25-35 and at the start it was hard to tell what they wanted to hear. They would like some top 40 songs but not others and so we started playing old 90's and they liked that for the most part, I had to stop playing remixes and start playing the radio versions as well. As it got later and everyone got drunker I'd choose a song and then the other guy would, we were switching from stuff like Party Rock Anthem to Footloose, Levels to My Sharona and everyone loved it and kept dancing. Finished up around 1 when everyone was getting too smashed and people starting to leave etc.
  15. Have they added a jog wheel yet? That's the only thing stopping me from moving from touchosc
