hey mate welcome

I learned on my CDJ/DJM 350 and they were awesome... I have used a mates 400 and it was good also. I now have a 2000/900 combo and it was so easy to transfer straight across as the layout, menu displays etc are all the same. I am selling my kit also, however the kit above mentioned has roadcase and headfones also which mine dont so yeah, they are a good buy for sure!

jarrah did you sort this out? i have used rekordbox to load my tracks onto usb stick and now all the wave files show up fine, this might be your problem.. although i cant seem to get the 2000 to load pre designated hot cues, when i hold down the call button they just flash yellow, they should be going green. need to look into this further

oh mint, i thought it was something to do with beatmatching between the 2 cdjs because all of a sudden it seems a lot easier to beatmatch lol

i am off usb so far maybe i should try cds.. got to get my head around rekordbox too that could be the answer... i tell you what tho, these decks are off the farkin chain i love them already..... jarrah: what set up are you running with your 2000? did u get that 800 mixer? heres another one for you ppl in the know, what exactly does the quantize function do??

thanks hobberz, the more i listen the more i can here some of those transitions are out... probably something to do with having no speakers hooked up to my decks haha The track selection is something i am interested in hearing peoples thoughts on, I just picked some songs I like, some old some new and the last two were just remixes that I like which the clubs around hear have probably never heard before, I put them in there to try and change things up a little to show I play stuff thats a little different to what most others are playing, dont know if thats wise though? streetcleaner I reckon that track is sick thats why i put it in ha

I havent been mixing that long either but I have found the same thing on my CDJ350's, when u loop a 4 bar loop, they do seem to go out of time and I have to nudge it every bar or 2 to keep it in time. I am interested to see if my new decks will be the same.

hey guys, I know I ask a lot of questions (sorry) lol I have brought a cdj2000, a cdj900 and a djm800 and I need a case for them, I have never brought cases before, are some better than others? any suggestions on where to buy from? thanks!

gelo im selling my cdj350s/djm350 if you want to get cdjs. PM me if u need more info. they are great units to learn on like Gandy said, same set up as the 2000s just like in the clubs only more basic. I have only been spinning about a year, these things taught me a lot. Also, like gandy said, it depends on what you are planning on doing. for me I want to eventually play in clubs so the cdj's were the right option.
