Played at the bar I have been playing at last night 10-1 was a pretty epic night, place was packed out early first time I have played 3 hours solid out was sick fun got a lot of good comments so I was stoked on that... playing there every thursday night now so should be a good summer!

good work guys I played my first gig at a new place in the city last night, played 10-11 which was pretty early but there was still a few around which was good. Went pretty well, played prog house for the first 20 mins then a bit harder stuff which was good brought a few more onto the floor.. had 2 bitches keep asking me to play skrillex about 1000 times which was pissing me off but apart from that it was good. Hopefully get more work there but hopefully later sets

those things were easy to use, except i couldnt work out why the text wasnt coming up, until the last track I played in my set where i realised you had to press the text more button to get text up lol... wave forms didnt load either but wasnt a big drama

sweet as, yeah I dont rely on it to much, but I have been used to it since all the stuff i normally play has pre loaded wave forms.. good to know! thanks! wonder why mine dont load faster.. weird.. oh well. Thanks again Jaz you have put my mind at ease

So the only other question is how long does it take the wave form to load once the track is loaded? my cdj's just load it as they play, would be awesome if they loaded ahead of time, I have seen people using 1000's where the form is loading ahead of where the track has played up to

I am stressin a little, I have to play a gig tonight on CDJ1000 mk3's, which I have never used before, I am used to using the 2000's and 900's, is there anything I need to know about using these things? I presume they are basically the same apart from not having USB input and no wave forms on the screen?

fixed! for everyone who owns one of these, it was the metal plate behind the knob had bent down just enough for the spring to loose tension, took them about 5 mins to fix, although I was a little worried when a registered Pioneer service centre tech referred to it as a "pioneer dj machine" haha

This may have been covered before but I cant find it and I feel its a question I need to know (i'm still a beginner) so I havent posted this in the Club section. Whats peoples views on using songs from iTunes in sets in clubs, are they good enough quality or stay clear? I have a couple of songs i'd like to use that I can only find on iTunes but I am scared to use them incase they sound shit on a bigger system... Thoughts?

Yeah it moves its self, its weird... Its the jog wheel adjust, just next to the platter, it lets you adjust how heavy the wheel feels

I just run them as stand alone players not with any computers or software.. I'll take it in tomorrow and get it looked at. I did buy my decks second hand so I guess these things happen.
