I only use it as an effects controller cause I have traktor, if you had able ton it's much easier for finger drumming

So I dropped off my monitor at EAV for repairs, get there and the guy has drum & bass playing, we get talking and we find out that we both had ties in the backyard project, he always bitched to the guy who ran it saying "you never play any dnb on your station" apparently the guy who ran te station would tell him when I was on to tune in, he then asked me are you looking for at gigs, I work with a guy that runs a liquid dnb night and they're always looking for new dj's, I gave him my soundcloud link and he's gonna check it out tomorrow

found my receipt, was almost 2yrs to the day when i bought them, doesn't say anything about a 3yr warranty on it but will see what they say about it

Just got off the phone with Australian Musical Imports and it looks like the warranty is only for 1 year within Aus, they gave me the details for a local repairer called EAV, the guy reckons it could just be the volume control that has shat itself which is common with the Rokits and should only cost about $80 to fix, will find out tomorrow after work when i take it to them. thanks guys

warranty is usually for 3 years, i've only had these for about 2 but cause the place i got them from i'm not sure if it would still work

Hey guys, so I've had a pair of KRK Rokit 8's for only a couple years and it look that my left monitor has decided to die on me, i have no sound coming out of it at all, i tried swapping the cables over to see if that was the problem but still nothing. Does anybody know a good retailer to get these repaired, unfortuntely for me the place i bought these from went out of business a few months ago, being in Perth I'm going to be limited for options, all i can think of is store dj. help please
