the raised platforms for monitors is an easy one, i went to Ikea and got 2 packs of 10cm adjustable legs and then went to bunnings and got a piece of heavy pine, cut it into 2 pieces at 20cm x 30cm, sanded the edges and screwed the legs onto the bottom.
