eggs - friday shuffle nearly always starts my weekend with something inspirational or just nostalgic from my past, and this often inspires my sat night warm up set. I know I could run shuffle and pick top result on my own but it was eggs' idea and it rocks.

Considering where, why and especially when you started DJing this statement alone shows so much development and self-awareness I am gonna nominate you for most improved DJ right now.

cheers hobz. I pretty much stick to beginners and stuff of the top of my head though. Will be hard to choose between Wazza and Source for all round knowledge and between Eggs, Lloyd, and the Duffman for all round going out of their way and learning/googling new shit for the benefit of others. Lol. Depends on their level and knowledge and music taste. I start with the play buttons and the volume faders. Then cross fader. Then counting beats and bars. Next how to recognise the first beat of a bar. Then maybe matching a second tune but prob just timing cuts first. You dont wanna scare a noob off on their first go so stick with stuff that will get good results for them until they hooked enough to face a few setbacks. Eg) End of first lesson- i beatmatch and they count in and fade. Unless of course they have natural ability.

^ good research and reasoning mitch The manual says the search functions won't work unless all the memory bucket lights are full "on". I guess chandzz can experiment to see which other functions he can get away with with fewer of the lights lit but be aware: The number of lights are an indication of the units ability to play music without cutting out. ...so you wont be able to fix this as such, just work around it, or upgrade kit. let us know how you get on please chandzz

hmmm. looking a bit deeper into that nsp6 I noticed that it relies on this: http://www.skratchworx.com/reviews/bomes1.php and that if I can get my head round Bomes Midi Translator I can get any midi controller to do anything that normally only a laptop key would do... Looks like a mindgame to me though.. I like ergonomic user friendly tech. Anyone got any experience of this?
