  1. Hi all. Just thought I'd write a quick thread to let people know how a wedding went I did on weekend (19th Nov). It was the first time I'd used my new Behringers and to say I was impressed is an understatement. Well worth the $$. Model is the B815NEO. Due to the room I only needed to have them on the floor, but that was more than adequate. Barely had them on quarter volume. Anyway, wedding gig went well. Got feedback from the bride and she was really impressed. It was more of a "aussie" rock crowd, which I thought would be an issue music wise. But thanks to itunes the night before I was all good. First couple of hours was just Michael Buble and the easy listening stuff, but got a good feed and the venue had there own wireless mic setup, so speeches were easily catered for. I've linked to my web site with some pics. Web site still under construction. The led pars are either side of my desk and the light on the stand is a KAM quadtrix thing. this was more than enough and I'm running them on DMX through freestyler and using Virtual DJ (and the freestyler plugin) and a VMS4. Any suggestions feel free. Cheers all http://www.funkyfeetentertainment.com/weddings.html Jonno
  2. Hi all. Decision made. Going to go with 2 x B815NEO's. Both for $1200 from Store DJ. I visited the store last weekend and managed to have a listen. They sound nice and clear and loud! Hows this sound to people? Cheers Jonno
  3. After my gig last night I found a hole in my collection. Rnb / Urban. As it's not something that I normally listen to, this is my weakness in my collection and the chicks love the stuff! So what do people suggest to help fill the hole? Cheers
  4. Will do
  5. Cheers. One thing I've found doing home gigs, is that the "younger" crowd get bored easily. Especially the females. They will ask for a track and if you don't play it straight away, they disappear. And even if you do play it, you get half way through and they leave the dance floor. They tend to think you are an iPod. The older crowd don't tend to do that. The projector was good though for advertising my website. During the audio tracks it displayed it on the screen.
  6. Evening all. Just thought I'd let you all know how my house gig went tonight (Saturday 6th). It was for a friends 35th. The weather put a bit of a downer on it, but I was set up in a shed (big metal one), so that was good. It did keep people from coming into the shed from the other under cover areas outside, but I can live with that. Cause it was in a shed I only used my smaller speakers and amp. But they coped really well. Didn't even need my sub. I used my projector for some of the 80's video clips (I run virtual DJ). That went down well. And some of the newer commercial dance tracks. Must get hold of Shots by LMFAO though. Kept getting asked for it and the wireless network wasn't working so couldn't download there and then. Other than that was good. Smoke machine, a couple of LED pars and a laser (all controlled by Freestyler) worked well, nothing froze or hung, well once, but that was because my drunk friend knocked a cable and had to reset! Was a shame the weather kept my friends friends away. Pics soon guys. Cheers all Jonno
  7. They are a LOT more expensive I think. Maybe that could be the next step up.
  8. Oh... The 215's are $400ea. The 315's are $500ea.
  9. What do you mean Jaz?
  10. I can't. I'm in Adelaide and I can't find anywhere that keep Behringer speakers.
  11. Question.... The B215D's have a frequency response of 55hz to 20khz. The B315D's have a response of 50hz to 18khz. So obviously the 315's have a greater range, but would it really be noticeable? Top end might not be, but bottom end could. Cheers
  12. How would they sound? Would they be good enough for a wedding gig say for 100 people? Normal price for these is $399 each, https://www.storedj.com.au/products/BEH-B215D so it's only the speaker stands they are throwing in (which is still good).
  13. Hey all. Anybody recommend a vocal effect processor, or foot pedal, to add echo to a mic (s)? I've got a house party coming up next weekend (6th) and they want karaoke as well. Cheers Jonno
  14. Agreed.
  15. Yeah true. What about old 90's dance stuff though?
