Worth $180? I have heard that they leak sound quite a bit and are fairly fragile... I might lean towards HDJ2000s or XD53's
-
Hi I have been offered these for a very good price from a friend http://www.beatsbydre.com/products/Prod ... 3808&cat=1 Just wondering if any of you know how these compare to popular cans such as HDJ2000s and XD53s? I would use these for DJing and I don't know if it is worth grabbing them if the other headphones are more suitable for DJing, Thanks guys

Ohh okay, I see Sounds perfect Have a good trip to the snow!

Yes I know DVS is Serato/Traktor! haha I was just saying that I would rather run a DVS software on top of CDJ's and a mixer rather than just mixing with a Digital Vinyl System/Software Thanks so much for that offer but tomorrow is my sisters birthday :/ I would love to come over and see Serato/Traktor in action, next weekend?
-
It's not the same ! I would rather use CDJ's and run Serato (or whatever) on top of it hahhaha But I do hear where you are coming from I don't have a laptop so I could only really use it at home on my iMac
-
Yep I am definitely going to let go of this sale, It is almost impossible for me to get a CDJ900s/DJM800 setup for under 3k
-
Yeah thats what I want to do, but he is in Italy with the mixer!
-
Hey I was very excited to see a DJM 800 mixer for sale nearby to me for $900 (The seller even said he/she could to $850) Here is the listing, http://sydney.gumtree.com.au/c-Stuff-fo ... Z291811330 I have been emailing the seller and he replies fairly quickly and at first I was pretty convinced i was legitimate. The seller sent me many photos of the mixer and seemed very nice. Now I email the seller saying okay I am happy to buy your mixer and he says that he is in Italy with the mixer hahahahhahah I have a bit of a go at the seller because obviously there is no way he could be in Italy as he emailed me the other day and did not mention one word of being overseas. The seller says: "you will send the money to the shipping agent after the shipping is started and they will keep the money until you get the mixer in hands ..." It is disgusting how many scammers are out there these days Thanks guys

Capfive: That is awesome!!! + rep Jaz: I totally agree I would rather purchase within Australia only
-
I was considering looking at gear from the USA because our dollar is strong, but I don't like that I have to have a power adaptor and stuff and that the product is not actually for Australian use. I was looking at the Allen & Heath Headphones that you purchased That is different because they work everywhere on the same plug. by the way I am sure they will be a genuine product ! Thanks!

Thanks Ill keep looking

-
Hmmm may consider it, but I would rather pay the extra bit and get newer gear, If you can hook me up with a pair of 900s and a DJM800 I would grab them
-
Im after 900's! Glad you got your 850s Jaz

Hey guys, After all the great information I gained from the thread below I decided it is much more sensible for me to buy a less expensive setup. Looking for good condition CDJ900s, a DJM800 and a road case if possible Thanks Jarrah
