  5. sickkkkk good work bro!
  6. good mix hoddi as mitch said the levels are a little bit off, but i think i can help with this, try not to use an auto gain or even a level meter, they lie, it all depends on the song, as you may have noticed with the second song, there isnt really a big snare in there, this is why it sounds softer than the first song, so like mitch said, slowly fade down to the next song or slowly fade the next song up then fade out, this allows the listeners to be able to ease into the different sound, it may not be softer or louder, but to a normal ear which has just been listening to a hard snare, it DOES "sound" softer... hope i havent confused you, just always go off ear, move that cue knob to a straight middle mix and you will be able to tell straight away, also like mitch said only SLIGHT beat matching needs to be fixed
  7. video is gone? im bored and i havent seen it yet
  8. ok sorry i missed wiritng this, here is how it helps me make CD's harmonic mixing is a BIG thing with me, in my opinion it is the ultimate tool for a DJ, it allows you to be able to mash the 2 songs together without it sound like a trainwreck, and if your a novice it can really give you that stepping stone to learn how songs work without taking time away from mixing. first thing i do is import my whole library, then let it analyse, then really if you want to go through each song, because there are key changes between one song (some can have as many as 4...) songs like this are not hard to mix, just make sure you use the right keychange in the right area, with songs like this i usually manuall change the file name to include the keychanges in order for e.g 1A-3A-5B is how the file might look i also organise my music in this order, which would be IMPOSSIBLE to do without mixed in key Genre ||Tempo ||||Key ||||||Artist ||||||||Song this allows me to keep within the area of the folder that i need to be in to keep that +/-10% tempo change and also allows me to keep my keys in check. as time goes on you will naturally be able to either remeber or tell what key goes with what. this is what works for ME, might not help with others, but its how i get my smooth mixes with seemless transitions

  11. this program is totally different to the normal mixing programs like VDJ or traktor, its purely for what we call sequence mixing, or premixing, this program allows you do it on the fly, you can cue, you can ajust on the fly, its all done before the song is played (thus the sequence part in the name) weather or not it can actually re-record the songs in the desired BPM, im not sure, it would be awesome if it could, this is a really good idea for a feature can someone confirm this?

  16. Could be a hot cue or just a quick sample they have taken to mix in with, either all would work, also depending on what software they are using they could be either using 4 decks and use the 3rd/4th deck to load samples onto

  23. if you are using itunes to make your playlists you can export the paylist to a text doco, from there you can just put that onto a template, all you need is a cd insert template and just use the front page. http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/templ ... 010338859| this is what i used to use, worked perfectly just use the title area as your guide and put your tracklists in there along with whatever you wanna call your CD's i then used to also write on the CD's just maybe a short version so i you know where the cd goes back of course this was before i went digital now i just have my songs in digital folders lol
