Sol please dont think this is a stab at you cause it aint... but big thing is always speak to the venue managers or owners to do a sort of run sheet and ok things like sound, your lights, smoke machines etc... some places might not want you using your mad flamethrower on the dancefloor cause it might catch something alight, or you might have trouble using a strobey or lighting effect because of external factor, this way if there are any problems you can go to your client and manage there expectations so they know certain things just arent possible
