it handles ableton just fine...no lagging, but you have to set the cache up with loads of freedisk space!!! I use the term mp3 j because that's what i'm doing...i haven't handled a CD yet in a set, but I do use the session view rather than the arrangement view in Ableton (rather than just press play and walk away!!!)
