  1. well i use industry standard pioneer gear when i dj friday/saturday nights, and they run serato scratch live and ive been learning on that, so i thought going with the serato itch shouldnt be much different seeing that its still serato... is it worth paying the extra dollars for the pioneer pack, or ...?
  2. the 1st link is what i contemplating going with...
  3. ok so im very close to buying my first setup. i was thinking of buying the djwhorehouse ddj-s1 monster pack for $1690. it comes with the monitors, stand, and roadcase. but then i thought it may be just as cheap for me to buy cdjs and run serato off it. What mixers will run serato? I would like the option to learn cd's (im currently learning digital) and i went back to thinking of getting the numark mideck. I plan on doing parties and stuff think a midi controller would be perfect. but i would also like to have the option to learn cd's aswell when i get time. ANY ADVICE? p.s I hope this makes some kind of sense
  4. There are a few on eBay going for $1k and some less than that?
  5. Ok thanks heaps what about the numark ns6/7s???
  6. Yeah I have laptop, new toshiba i7...
  7. Ugh all these words, confusion is setting in. Cheapest way to start out doing parties would be what? If it means steering away from software and getting into just cd's then I might bite the bullet and buy cdj200/400's and a mixer and learn the hArd way?? Budget being $1k max
  8. Well I have been learning on serato with a dvj1000 so if I was to buy a setup to play at parties it'd make sense that it'dphase to play serato, so I guess a controller would be my cheapest option hey?
  9. That looks pretty awesome but do I really need this just for doing some parties? Because I would still have to buy a mixer yeah? it would be very expensive just for getting started
  10. I just want something decent that can use both cd/mp3/USB and software like serato/traktor... Plan on doing parties and would like a good variety of music other than just cd's... Also Because I have been learning on a big platter, I would like something with a decent size platter too. Mmm any suggestions
  11. Ok thanks guys has anyone used the numark mixdeck?
  12. Hey everyone I'm new to DJing, have been learning on a pioneer dvj1000 aT a local pub with serato. Just wandering what people think of the Reloop package on djwharehouse... It looks decent and also would like to know if anyone has used the numark mixdeck. Thanks Just after some advice guys
