No matter what pio decks you get you will be able to transition onto any model in the club easily. They all have/work the same for all the basic functions.

Also most of the big nightclubs have 2000's now. Most hotels and bars still use 1000's. Only a matter of time untill they upgrade, most 1000's I have played on are pretty fucked because they have had a beating for the last 4 years or so.

Do you know how to replace the buttons? imo I've seen excellent condition 800 mk2's go for $900 and less on ebay before. Although you do get the efx 500 with it Also I wouldn't buy a pioneer mixer if you have an efx, may as well get a xone. Only advantage pio mixers have over xones are the effects.

Traktor Mac OS® X 10.5 or 10.6 (latest update), Intel® Core™ Duo, 2 GB RAM Im using a 13" i5. It is small but i find it's a good thing as it fits into dj booths easier as well as being easier to transport.
