  1. What about on scratches and such? I feel it fits? yeah i guess man, I mean i'm not going to hate. Just my opinion.
  2. what a joke, do they charge much?
  3. yeah man thats what made me search around for it. went off at creamfields, so loose.
  4. yeah recording mixes picks up every little shit thing you do wrong. When you play out on big sound systems shit sounds 100000x better and people wont notice small mistakes. Actually punters full-stop generally wont notice anything, you can crossfade between each track with no beat matching and they probably wont give a shit. I don't reccomend doing that though lol.
  5. fuck that is pretty mint. Id play it out for sure. Not sure which remix I like the most yet, Original is nice too.
  6. "10% off Store wide (Excluding Pioneer)" lool.

  8. bump. $50

Whats up guys, came over here from ITM forums. Mainly because it's pretty boring over there and I like to procrastinate on forums while avoiding uni work. Anyway I've been DJ'ing for about 9 months now, Spent my hard earned cash working at maccas while I was in high school on my kit. (all of it) Only started doing gigs at the start of the year with 18ths/21sts ect ect. Been pretty fortunate though and managed to secure myself some residences in 2 hotels in Brisbane for their club nights.
  11. lololol. Are mobydisc that bad? never seen them at an event before. Only heard stories.
  12. QFT, I'm wrecked every time i do partys after playing for 5 hours or so with setting up and packing down. It's good money and heaps of fun with everyone getting loose but i prefer playing out now because i can rock up and play, abuse my $50 bar tab and not worry about gear and packing up.
  13. 2nd hand cdj 200/350/400's and xone 22 or djm 400 mixer. Might also be able to pick up some cheap second hand cdj 800's which would be optimal.
  14. yeah props to storedj. bought tons of shit from there strore in brisbane. awesome fellas too.
  15. dj drops when playing out are pretty cheesy imo. I only use them in mixes on soundcloud.
  16. barbra streisand not played much? toot toot all aboard the sarcasm train lol, moombah is hardly in the same league of playability as Barbara Streisand. 99% of the time people wouldn't have a clue what that is. yeah but for us.. Oh yeah fair enough, I meant non-dj's. Anyway the best way I found to record mixes is to just record every time you have a mix. If you start up then go.... "Alright I'm recording now don't fuck up", you will fuck up.

  18. when you say you went all out whats that mean? what'd you get? 4x CDJ 2000's, a DJM 800, EFX 1000, 3 Technics 1200's, HD 25's and the the Space Ibiza sound system. Yeah bro i considered that but I wanted more "bang for my buck" so I picked up 2 of these bad boys: and this mixer:
  19. yeah I don't see the point in buying shitty gear. I went all out on my first set-up mid last year and don't regret it at all. All it means is you're going to waste time and money trying to sell it later on when you *WILL* upgrade. Of course it's still dependant on your budget. Second hand cdj 200's and a second hand xone 22 or djm 400 is perfect to start on because all the pio cdj's have the same concept, so when you eventually play out you won't have any problems playing on cdj1000/900/2000's and djm 800/900's.
  20. It's hilarious because he looks like a pasty white nerd that would live in his parents basement. Eh, I guess it's the same for all the wealthy people out there.
  21. Selling my AKG k81 headphones. Probably one the best headphones I have used and I would compare it to some HD25's(awesome if you're on a budget). Also they have surprisingly really strong bass which is what you are looking for in DJ headphones as well having good isolation. Awesome condition, Only used for a few months..... Looks brand new. Comes with warranty and receipt from storedj. Looking for $60. They RRP for $110. Check out a review here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrsOZLE-CJQ Will post some pics if i get any interest.
  22. Looking for 2x cdj bags to hold pioneer cdj's (1000/900/800 ect ect) Similar to this kind of stuff: Doesn't neccasarily have to be UDG gear, any brand will do. cheers.
