  1. always take a chap stick
  2. sounds cool man, i'm not a massive fan of the chords thought something a bit more subtle would suit it perhaps?
  3. Live 9.1 – a free update that promises dual-monitor support and other frequently requested features. Here’s what’s in in Ableton Live 9.1: Dual-monitor support – this has been one of the most frequently requested features by Synthtopia readers, wanting to view Arrangement and Session views on different screens. New integration with Push – this will include step sequencing of melodies (not just drums), and step sequencing of automation Improved rendering - when downsampling on export, which, depending on your workflow, may result in better final audio quality.

    My CPU

    thought i'd share this shot i took earlier today of my cpu doing interesting things, happened just after a VST crashed so not sure what happened in there but i closed it down asap
  5. so i've just ordered a new firewire card with the TI TSB43AB22 chipset. Got it from amazon pretty cheap but postage was an absolute bitch. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HD ... UTF8&psc=1
  6. Nice funky tech house jam from Penske. https://soundcloud.com/hi-techrecords/penske-cencerro-original-mix https://soundcloud.com/hi-techrecords/penske-cencerro-peggy-sue
  7. =D> =D> =D> what a lad.
  8. sweet, cheers man. Its made by Jmicron Technology Corp. this settles step one. Time to by a SIIG FW PCIe with TI chipset
  9. its seems i'm having a fair bit of trouble connecting my focusrite saffire pro 40 with my new windows 7 64 computer. The device will just not show us as even connected. what I've tried so far is changing the firewire drive over to the (legacy) option which didn't do anything. I've read that maybe there are only certain brands firewire cards it works with (TI). Since i didn't build the PC i'm not sure what firewire card is in it. Is there a way to find this out on win 7? as it currently just comes up with a generic name on all windows 7. edit: also the autorun won't work not sure how to fix that either. possible that the drivers aren't even installed? but there is no "drivers" on the focusrite website, only the mixcontrol software which is currently installed on my PC if anyone can lend some help that would be ace

  17. so i need a PC, just wondering if anyone has seen some good deals about? would prefer a laptop but doesn't have to be. needs these specs or higher (preferably a bit faster) looking around the 600 - 900 price range. also it MUST have firewire.
  18. yeah bit of a dick move on his behalf.
  19. ableton plus maschine FTW they work really well together. most things you can do on maschine anyway but i find it quicker to do on ableton
  20. I think he is doing 100% the right thing here. seriously that guy cops it from every angle and he's actually a really good producer all things aside. Put yourself in his shoes. I'm so sick of blogs writing "hate piece's". it's sickening the the dance scene has so much hate in it at the moment. if you don't like it don't listen to it. simple.
  21. yeahhhhhh man...... tell me about it. i got my distro statement for hi-tech the other day and one artist had 7 plays on spotify for that he earned $0.01
