  1. so similar to a technics which isn't surprising considering pioneer and technics are one and the same. but really why bother with it?
  2. lol.
  3. cool stuff

  5. seems to be working now.... somehow. did you have a stab cupe?
  6. not bad man
  7. any where below 30 you can't really hear. I've heard a few people say its more of a feeling that low and I've also heard around 70 is the punch in the chest spot with kicks etc. it was my understanding that anything below 30 your probably making the subs work way too hard. which means while they are trying to push out shit in that sub range then your really going to make them struggle to get out shit above that which can really mud up the mix then on top of that you cant hear it so there isn't much point.
  8. did a little vid for it too #djlyf
  9. thanks lads
  10. thanks boss
  11. Yo peeps. we decided to give away our new original for free. have a listen and let me know what y'all think https://soundcloud.com/slop-rock/slop-rock-heat-up-original-mix
  12. yep thats the one. it was doing it through jet pack now it only fails.
  13. I have Jetpack Publicize connected to Facebook. It was working for a while, and then it jsut stopped posting to Facebook. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting also tried disabling any other plugins that connect to facebook etc. still no go. any one know anything about this issue and can help or know of a simple yet effective plugin that does the same shit with out having to create an app thing and all that garb? cheers.
  14. and of course now its working..... never mind guys.
  15. so the hi-tech records website uses a plugin that requires an API key from beatport which i've got. when i tried to use it, it still would not work. i contacted the theme creator and he said can anyone elaborate perhaps? i've googled and its still a little over my head.
  16. i've also been hearing good things about sonic academy's ANA.
  17. this is probably a really good one for anyone thats beginner to intermediate. good over view of a whole track. good mastering section at the end too. take note on how he solo's drums first the bass etc. as this is a really good technique to getting everything sitting well together
  18. yeah not too much to be honest. they are from the goldy and we are in brissy. seem'd like good lads the night they played at our resident club in bris
  19. all the lights and fireworks would be sync'd with the set. I'm not saying that's an excuse for not mixing cause its not but a lot of the big guys play mix tapes for that reason. also i think avicii is one of the lucky ones that's crossed over from the world of dance and into the mainstream so for him its more about the show and the fans i would imagine instead of trying to impress dj's, even though thats sometimes disheartening.
  20. does anyone know anywhere that is streaming the grammy's live?
  21. the only way to develop your own samples would be to record a kit in a studio, using a synth and/or a wav generator. i would say starting with a pre made sample pack is your best bet. vengance and the likes are pretty good. http://www.loopmasters.com has shiet load of stuff

  23. its a good start. i'd get some more real sounding drums though, you could try adding a small amount of reverb might make them sound a little more real.
  24. when do you win?
  25. how many keys will you want? probably one of the more important questions to cover, i've got a 49 key MPK, i think thats a decent enough size for what i need it for.
