played the drums from grade 7 to 9 and then got over it, wish I kept playing though. Im thinking about learning a bit of piano/keyboard to get a bit of music theory down though.

Didn't get to see much this last year, the aston shuffle and house of pain at groovin the moo were probably my highlights. I would like to see dillon francis, bassnectar and krafty kuts make their way out next year. I am already going to future so that crossed a few off my list.

I bought a laptop on finance once, ended up paying $250 in interest but for me it was worth it to have a computer again right away. Sure it will be worth a lot less by the time its payed off so I guess it's just up to you to decide if its worth it. Maybe it will better for you to just put some used gear on a credit card later.

Friend asked me to play a birthday party a few nights ago, got there and thought it was going to be such a terrible night I almost left straight up. But then I saw my buddy and he got me set up brought me whatever I wanted and I ended up playing till 3am. Never had more than ten people dancing but everyone was loving the music and I had a great time playing for them. Then when I was finished with the loud noise and flashing lights I just went outside had a few smokes and chilled by the bonfire till the sun came up. Ended up being a pretty sick night.

Slightly different styles can make a duo great but I have seen duos where one was great and I would hit the DF for his three songs and then leave for the next whales three songs and repeat, got pretty annoying.

Could be, slightly better processor and the higher resolution screen would be really handy if you are running 4 deck traktor.

Yeah I got the 13" with the core i7 and it's pretty sweet, looked brand new. Think Im gonna upgrade to 8GB of ram and swap the disk drive for a SSD when I have some extra cash though. I feel like the I7 processor is held back by the small amount of ram and the slow as hard drive.

Not sure if you decided yet or not, but I went from a 15" Dell to my refurbished 13" Macbook pro and couldn't be happier. The screen is smaller but it has a higher pixel density so it doesn't really bother me, it really just looks better, and mine didn't have a mark on it. It did come with a fucked charger though but I just rang up apple and they sent me a new one straight away.
