hey so lets get a convo started so whats your oppion on pre-mixing? I personaly think its alright, but it has its cons: pro: *if your having a huge epic once in a life time gig, it would make sure its perfect. *all your mixes can be perfect each time cons: *easy to get borred *the people paid you to play live :S _____________________ haha the only reason i brought this up was because at the bdo this year, I suspected anna lunoe of premixing :3 there where multiple tracks playing, but only one of her players was indicating that it was playing. It still sounded epic, but in her deffence, you would NOT want to stuff up a huge gig like the bdo

The pro version is the one I want and yes, that has an inbuilt soundcard, headphone and mic jack too! plus I like the layout of the mixtrack pro better

thank you guys for being so suportive! if I may ask though, why a Vestax VCI-100 over a newmark mixtrack pro? also the reason I wish to upgrade from the audioline all in one I have now is that its extrealmy basic, there are 2 effects "brake and reverse" and strange audio levels, not to mention the audio levels are very strange :S Also Im sick of burning bucket loads of cds XD. trust me though, If I could get that Dennon one, I would :3 it is my dream controller

mmm yeh good point, don't worry about the not knowing how to use cd'djs though before I started out myself, I went and worked with a mid sized mobile dj for 3 months to see if I liked it or not. Im very at home with cd dj's but the only reason I wasn't getting them was the price.

Oh and my current kit is: Audio: 2 audioline 15" powered pa speakers 1 audioline all in one mixer (I dident realize they where both audio line till like a month ago ) Lighting: 2 Rotating LED moon flowers 1 RGB Tri flash light (my centerpiece light) 2 lazer protectors 1 smoke machine 16 floodlights with colored globes (for outdoor gigs) connected to a 4 channel lighting chaser (I know its simple, but I just wanted something to get me started)

mmhm I know newmark is suspost to be shit, but I still really like the look of the newmark mixtrack pro but that would be upgrading from my audio-line all in one mixer. lots of people seem to hate on controllers, but they appeal to me, mainly because where I work (place that sells fried chicken, soz cant say name of it because of social networking agreement) pays $6 an hour :/ and it means you don't have to burn lots of cds, or keep constantly transferring things to a usb. If I had more money, Id probably get the Denon DNMC6000 Oh and so far ive had 3 gigs at bday partys! they went really well and everyone had a great time! gandy, by the way, am a dj because I love music, not because its cool and not because of the money thank you for sticking up for me by the way

mmhm 16, but being young doesent mean I dont have a eternal love for music! id die without it and as for sync, I like it, just because Im new to dj'ing, but honnesly what does it matter, as long as you and your crowd loves what your doing! thats the main rule of being a dj for me

hey, I have 2 powered audioline 15" pa speakers and love them, but I could use a little more base! does anyone know a good powered sub that isnt to hard on the pocket :/ I don't need something too good, just something to add a little more depth to the music. oh and sorry, forum refused to let me put this in the proper place, so I had to put it here instead

ok so first! One, do you like my Dj name, Sol Dios, no dj just sol dios its original! yay anyway, also Im looking to get the newmark mix track pro, but I cant seem to find any store in aus that sells it for under 400? but all that's different between the mixtrack pro and mix track is no mic or headphone inputs (and usb sound card) is there any way I can hook these things up to my laptop so they work with traktor or virtual dj?
