Uploaded with ImageShack.us thats my kit not to bad for my first setup I dont think :3 I got that roadcase from jb the other day, $50 each! all padded with foam and already cut for a mixer and 2 cd dj's, felt kinda sad cutting it to make my all in one fit, but here is some pics of it http://img194.imageshack.us/g/img1531zm.jpg/ and when I had finished fitting it: Uploaded with ImageShack.us once I cut it, I put some black material down and tucked it into the sides to tidy it up

that game looked stupid, becides, they got to a stage where they where selling the complete thing for $40, with a money back guarantee. how desperate can you get! I think I will deffs get the control vinals for my next setup, that will do me for a LONG time. plus its pretty epic to have all the functionality with vinal, without having to buy all your music again
-
hmm, I think I might get 2 turntables and a mixer, X1 then use control vinyl with it, I think that setup would be exelent!
-
Hey I was wondering, at the seaford tavern I know they have a residant dj, do you think If I gave them a call, I could ask if I could see how he does his stuff? like not a guest set or anything, just watching what he does
-
what are control vinyls?
-
haha D': I feel sad because I just cut them to fit my mixer haha only got home half hour ago with them
-
Eh, il post them here too! http://img194.imageshack.us/g/img1531zm.jpg/

Guess what, I just found 2 for 50$ each! will post in the sticky "just brought" thread

Hey does anyone know where I could get some half affordable flight cases? I need one for my audioline all in one :/ Or should I make one myself?
-
haha dont worry about the small platters, I currently have to scratch with 2 fingers. What I might get next is a mixer with a midi plug too! that way I can have some cd djs, a mixer and a tracktor controller (the remote style one). then I can pretty well play everything , accept vinyl

Gilligans or the "old wool shed" cant remember the exact name, LOTS of people, Gilligans would be the best place to play at, lots of young backpackers, and an awesome booth!

that gives me a nasty mental picture :S

Also Ive just scored 2 gigs playing cheese :S (Hits) normaly I dont do that stuff but I need the cash XD
-
hey, Im just letting you know Ive decided to stick with my audioline all in one mixer and not upgrade to the mixtrack pro, my main reasons I wanted to upgrade was transporting music and lack of effects The way I have worked around this is I am just going to figure out the songs I am going to use pre-gig and pre apply effects before hand, then I can mix them into the track later. thank you guys for all the advice, il save for the dennon 6000
-
really? thought she knew what she was doing behind the decks? yeh :/ when ever it went to a birds eye view of her setup, only one of her pioneers indicated that it was working, even though I could hear more than one track being mixed, who knows, it might be a requirement at the bdo that you play pre mixed crap, so that way you dont stuff it up and make drunk dancing people angry:S
-
No, its fucking not. People that think this way are bringing our art form down. Wake up. So you're saying that you would happily pay good money to see a big name DJ play a pre-mixed CD? haha dont worry, the only time I would EVER consider doing it is with 2 songs that are ridiculously hard to mix e.g. "deathmetal and clasical music" or an absolutely once in a life time mix, and even then id just make pre mix tracks, fade them together one after the other and apply all kinds off effects and loops to make it sound completely different. but not something as low as one huge track, thats out there oh and like I said in the cons, they paid you to play live, not play a cd/track (and it would be mega boring) so yes, you are right j0rdz, but your shooting the wrong bird and once again, I have not pre-mixed before, the only reason I brought this topic up was because I suspected anna lunoe of doing it
-
yeh, I love the sound setup at the bdo, the amount of base when anna lunoe was playing was ridiculous, you could feel it rattling every bone in your body
-
yeh my only complaint is on the tripods they need a little more base, but nothing a sub cant fix. also there hard for a 16 yo to get onto the tripods, bloody heavy things! haha
-
hey guys, so whats your dream gig? tell us! no matter how stupid/unrealistic it is mine would be big day out. haha on judge juty the other day, a guy said he was a dj at a strip club XD :3
-
haha yeh, plus its hard to fake mixing without stuffing up your pre-mixed mix. haha the only time I pre-mix is for demo tapes and to put online to show people and thats not really pre mixing I mix strange though, before my gigs, I strip lyrics out of the songs, so that way I can have them whenever I want in my mix
-
hey im just asking for your view, Its not that I do it personaly, I get too bored, no need to stab at me
