  1. Out of curiosity, What was the parking like the last two years? I'll be there a little later and can only really drive down. And for the police presence outside the venue?
  2. A Sileighty is an S13 face on a 180sx rear built apon the RPS13 shell. Pretty easy conversion because the 180 is a S13 just with a different shell. Strawberry face is the widebody S15 face on the 180sx rear. Lots of modifications to the front fenders, hood, bumpers etc because it's two different chassis.
  3. Real basic modifications apart from Coilovers. That was what I was after, so I won't get hassled I'll actually be selling the Rays and getting some TE37's right after a better alarm. As for the S15 face, just give me time
  4. Not audio related, but sure will get to a gig quicker.

  6. Looking into buying a midi keyboard to use with my M-audio Xponent. The microkorg looks like it would be a good option as it's pretty small and packed with features but I've had no experience playing a midi keyboard though I have played piano for some years. Basically, all i want to do is to be playing a track on the Xponent while adding sync sounds into the mix. Some sort of wobble preset feature is a must. So yeah, any suggestions would be good. Around $400-500 budget (don't mind buying 2nd hand)
  7. Just some cheapies 'till i decide what monitors to use.
  8. lappy is only 15" but the monitor is 18.5" widescreen. The program is way cramped on anything less than 17"
  9. For my Torq Xponent
  10. At this stage no. However if/when i do move onto general parties just need to know down the track that i will be able to integrate a woofer into the system.
  11. Audio out for my mixer is RCA so would most powered speakers generally have RCA in? And i guessing if this is so, would i just make one speaker a slave to the other via RCA out? Also, once i do get a sub woofer for the below 150Hz sounds how would i go incorporating that into the system?
  12. I know it’s I difficult industry to get into but thinking about it for some time I’ve decided to get into the mobile Dj business (basically only weddings at this stage) I’m currently using the digital Torq Xponent and have lighting + trusses however I’m at a loss on how I should go about the speakers, monitors, pc and amplification. First off, speakers. At the moment I’m just using portable items and I’m pretty sure that they won’t suffice for a paying gig. What sort of speakers + woofers + amps should I be looking at? ($500-$1000 budget) Currently using these for my home setup: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/PORTABLE-PA-DJ-P ... 5661wt_986 Pc and monitors: Rather than going laptop, I was considering building a small portable custom desktop pc powerful enough to run two monitors. The reason is that I will need an entire screen for the Torq mixing program and wanted another screen for miscellaneous (Setting up playlist on the fly etc.) Could anyone see a problem using a small desktop for the pc other than being heavy for transport etc.
