i went passive cos i got the speakers for $400 with an amp with a blown channel thats the only reason i went with them.And must say im very extremely happy with them them pump even through 1 channel. right your looking to spend $700 leave it with me.

Whats your budget ? i was looking to purchase some active speakers until recently, so ive done all the homework on every brand, and could possibly pass on what information i collected and researched,i went for some passive wharfedale pro series with separate amplifier but the price i got them for swerved me from the active route i was originally gonna go down. hope this helps

Im having a few issues with the levels on this mixer im using the mixer with denon dns3500 cd players The problems seems to be the input from my denons i cant have the gain over 1/4 turn because the red lights start flashing ive tried everything possible but ive had no luck the other issue is because i cant turn up the gain the output to my sennheisers is very low and im finding it very hard to mix cos of the low volume Ive borrowed an behringer from a friend and the problem is solved, is the problem that the mixer isnt matched to the decks for some reason or what ? Help is required please

when i say changed shape i mean i have noticed that there has been a problem inside the caps and it has caused the caps to appear to have blown from the inside .

Ive pulled the amp apart and had a close look and noticed that tha capacitors are leaking fluid i will post pictures soon the caps are http://parts.digikey.com/1/parts/137459 ... 3a052.html there are 4 of them and they all look to have been leaking black fluid and have changed shape as well and appear to be knackered the fuse on the blown channel is ok i was wondering what other components could have been blown or afffected by the blown capacitors

The main genres im into starting from the beginning soul funk disco, bit before my time but i love it im talking about the underground stuff rather than the cheesy commercial stuff house and original garage 87-88 Hardcore 89-92 jungle 92-96 Garage 96-01 more house 87-present All my mixes are in storage in the uk still on minidisc but when i get my studio sorted at home ill get on the case and do some mixes

Hi im john 35 originally from london but moved to melbourne about a year ago ,Im originally a vinyl dj but shipping all my gear over was way too expensive so i purchased a set of denon dns3500 cd players and ive swithched to digital.Ive been collecting music since the age of 16 and have a very large collection of vinyl i love it.Ive been djing for the last ten or so years and have played at a few events and also used to run a small business selling vinyl and putting on events in my hometown of london.
