I wouldnt go anything lower than 320kbps, but would reccomend wav all day long ,The conisseur of sound will always be able to tell the difference between wav and compressed sound

cant always pick up kiss,its bad reception all the time and you cant even get in where i live

Im trying to do this on a budget so cant be investing in loads more gear.i may invest in a midi keyboard thats all. My advise is emmigrate this place is far better then the uk.

eezee djim,im from london now living in melbourne been here for 18 months I dont have the samples yet but a friend has loads that he is gonna give me and the d2 has a spare bank to store extra samples so i thought would use that.I have just aquired another laptop that im gonna be using in my studio so im gonna be putting on reasons and ableton live.i dont have a usb to midi converter im just trying to work out what i need before purchasing everything. ps are you on facebook ?

i think your rught djim you cant convert the sounds from wav to midi think ill have to try and source midi samples and patches and sounds

How can i convert patches ,Loops and samples from my laptop in wav format into midi format then send them to my Roland d2 groovebox? I know i have to invest in a usb-midi converter but what else do i need ? do i need any programs? Help please

Ive had these decks for 6 or so months and have had problems with beat matching on them,that was until yesterday when i put some tape over the annoying bpm counter and adjusted the platter to rotate at 45rpm instead of 33 rpm, the adjustment on the pitch control seems to affect the platter so much more now and beat matching is so much easier.

Thanks pill.i was hoping someone could advise me before just replacing the capacitors and wasting my money.do you know any technicians in melbourne that could assist me in finding the fault?or can you put me on to someone that could do the relevant tests? If i had all my testing equipment and multi meter testing gear that i have in the uk i would test it myself, but i do not have the funding to purchase this gear at the moment
