Thats what i did mate, i bought my own gear for performing live then i went into production. I found that playing music live and performing helps me with production. Do whatever you feel you wanna do man.
Dudes, when making a remix, what sort of copyright permissions do i need to get off the artists? Do i only need to do this if i plan on selling this mix? (which i do not). cheers.
