see, so looping is fine but when does sync become fine? everyone will say it's different but in principle its not.

i have spent hours learning to beat match i had cdj800s and used them heaps, i still do with vinyl most of the time, but just cause i did that doesnt give me some excuse to wail on everyone who does sync, fuck let them go everyone knows people who can't beatmatch will eventually get figured out, but who cares. it shouldnt be about what other people think it should be about what you wanna do. if you wanna learn how to beatmatch then do it and you will benefit. but what just cause i have learnt how to do it somehow makes me not allowed to use the sync tempo feature?

but you get to keep songs on a computer instead of burning cds? thats cheating. anyways im done arguing over this.

im not talking about beatgrid syncing im talking about tempo syncing you still have to cue the song up and drop it at the right beat/phrase.

if syncing is cheating then so is looping, hot cues, software(rekordbox) etc.

my set is actually on thsi weekend 1am-3am should be bangin

or it could be that auto sync button or maybe you can't read and i have 2 records one is my mums janet jackson one, the other is some stupid breaks record. wake up to yourself before trying to be a smartass

i use auto loops, hot cues, and when im slizzered the sync button(have it set to match tempos not actually syncing but kind is). who cares i know how to dj without them but why would i when using them makes my set sound better

at my gig tonight i have 2 cdj800s and a djm700 mixer i think. i was wondering how hard is it to setup cds with my audio 8 and traktor. ive done it with vinyl before but never cdjs.

i find it hard to use vinyls but i can easily mix with traktor scratch pro. this may just be my limited experience or my lack of having decent records to mix with.

could be an issue with your latency im not sure how to fix that but someone else may.
