  1. That's sick congrats on the win it looks like pioneer made this as a kind of intro level casual controller which is cool because they haven't had anything like this before i personally dont like the look of it though but that's just personal preference
  2. that is painful
  3. they only had one rmp3 left
  4. Haha you won't be shunned at all! I think serato is just generally more common therefore people think it is better (atleast where i am from)

  13. Yeah i used my s4 in a few clubs around newy but soon got sick of it its just too much hassle. Like i was saying to my mate the other day there is nothing better then rocking up to a gig with just cds(or usbs) and your headphones
  14. I know that at the beggining of the year at uni they always have little stalls with like all different clubs and shit that people could join im not sure if all unis do it. You could set up a stall there im sure there would be heaps of people there who would join

  17. =D> that was so good
  18. Depends where you go. The clubs I frequent in Melbourne rarely have anyone playing with a laptop. Having said that, the bar I work at (cocktail/tapas/club venue) is full of autosync whales on their MacBook Pro's. I guess it ultimately comes down to the scene you're in, and where you're based. Good talk andy i think that usually the bigger the club the less people with a laptop and midi controller setup like the s4 etc. just because they usually hire dudes who have been doing djing for a while and are most likely going to stick to their cds or usbs. That's not to say all of them do as I've been to many of the bigger clubs in newcastle where the dj is using a laptop.
  19. Yeah I've noticed serato is very popular here in clubs just not sure if its just a newcastle thing or the rest of aus is similar. Traktor is running a lot more and it seems like traktor is purpose built for midi controllers nowadays whereas SSL is more for timecode (correct me if i'm wrong i'm just speaking out of my own experience and opinion)
  20. Recently deleted my tumblr account sadly but i have bookmarked your blog and am more then happy to let you guys post my tracks if you ever see fit. soundcloud.com/kkkarms
  21. Okay guys i want this to be basically a discussion for people deciding which route to go for when playing in clubs. I want you to pick Traktor or Serato (whichever you use in the club) and explain why its good and what made you chose that over the other I've used my Traktor box in a club once and i say it was annoying to setup literally took me 10 minutes because it was pretty dark.
