It's a good sorta toy/halfway device still looks nothing compared to cdjs or even the higher end controllers. I don't understand why it looks 'halfway' for a club dj who uses 2000s in the club why wouldnt something like this be good?

1000s don't have midi I'm pretty sure. You'd have to use a time code setup.

I'll add on to my last post I still DJ because it's fun every so often. I couldn't do a weekly residency but it would bore me.

Did like an under 18s nightclub thing the other week. Was pretty good actually just used the clubs 1000s got to play my own style which was sick and the guys loved it so I've landed a few more gigs.

I see a real future in pioneer making a product like the stanton scs4dj instead with rekordbox loaded on the unit and playback off usbs it would be epic.. This just looks confusing.

I've got a gig this weekend at a new club opening up and I still haven't got a clue as to what gear they have there emails are too difficult to reply to nowadays.

I think you should DJ, Produce and try all genres after you try them all you will be naturally inclined to one or maybe a couple genres. Then you will know what you are "meant" to play. Me personally i like electro house.
