Can you use these vocals as an accapella to drop in the mix? Once you've recorded the voice what sort of software do you need to add filters etc?

Shattered this event is not in Melbourne. You guys are in for a treat. His shows are unbelievable. The main act to play at 3a.m seems fairly normal. I've been to gigs where the headliner didn't play until 5a.m.

Sounds wicked. My mixes aren't up to a standard to broadcast on radio but I'm looking forward to checking it out. Had a listen to the J-Slyde mix on soundcloud last weekend. Really liked the tunes.

I don't know of any pirate radio stations. But we have Kiss Fm. Its frequency is anywhere between 87.6 & 87.9 FM, depending on your location.

I've got another party on, but might be able to swing down for a few bevies afterwards. It would be good to get some ideas for a new progressive/tech demo that I'm working on. Always keen to hear some new tunes.

For the hard stuff I think your options are 3D, Bubble, & Hard Kandy. Tramp is really good. Might be worth checking out the lineup at Brown Alley, usually some awesome DJ's there. Neverland isn't too bad but its a pretty young crowd.

Yeah loop bar is cool. They have wicked visuals. I recently sent a demo disk there hoping that I could play early to get some club experience. They have wicked DJ's so its doubtful (but worth a try).

I don't get out too much anymore. Had some great nights at Brown Alley & Wah Wah lounge though. Went to Stereosonic which was cool. I play vocal, deep, progressive house.

Is Rapid Evolution a free program, from memory I downloaded but couldn't get the program working? I'm considering purchasing mixed in key.

I had a similar issue, the bass kick sounded distorted. I ended up turning the microphone output down to 1.0.

I think the Behringer DDM 4000 is Tracktor compatible. They are only worth $500 and it looks like they have heaps of effects.

Hopefully they keep flooding ebay. I'd love to get CDJ 1000's. Most people seem to be upgrading to CDJ 2000's. They are unbelievable.
