  1. you won't be able to scratch even with serato sl3, the 200's only slow down and speed up the playrate similar to pitch bend on the stanton turntables, or the outer platter on pioneer 800's and 1000's
  2. that's a sweet deal
  3. dance music hub are better
  4. i'll have to check it out when i get my keyboard
  5. i did a quick search using their email they have stuff advertised in just about every counrty, also their phone number locates them to england or the isle of man
  6. it's a shame to say it but gone are the days where a dj's skill and talent were of beat matching, set construction and mixing in key manually. but there are still some great dj's out there who with the introduction of new technology learn the ins and outs of the new equipment and utilise it to it's full potential. with the advent of midi mapping in most "dj" mixers it's starting to allow for more creativity and user friendliness, towards implimenting software into a set.
  7. ok a simple answer is yes there is technology that does everything for you but if you use this you had better be very creative in what you perform, and you can still perform while using software infact you should perform more! controllers are designed to have everything at your fingertips and be able to put on a live show so to speak even if they are loops, samples and tracks that have already been made and to some extent bring the sound engineer out from behind his glass booth and recieve recognition for the efforts they make. being a dj is about connecting with the listener and controlling the music to send them on a journey. dancing and music is one of the earliest forms of tribalism and creating a connection to everyone.
  8. number 1 rule when building a computer- buy the top of the range in last years equipment- it'll be half the price and it'll work with everything for another 2-3 years
  9. sort of my style i can see what you are going for, and yeah i understand what you mean about lacking energy in the chorus. not huge in the prduction at the moment so can't really give any advice but it is good track.
  10. when you advetise things send it to people and people they know can't remember how to do it but know you can
  11. i don't twitter i don't like the basis on telling everyone what you are doing every 5 mins, some people feel so disconnected from each other that this is the only way they can feel secure. on the plus side twitter is a good way to advertise
  12. hi there, welcome
  13. i could ask around at different hire venues i guess
  14. yeah she was a stunner but just wouldn't fuck off... my mate was sitting right behind her but his gf was sitting right next to him, the only reason we got a photo was so he could look
  15. cool as thanks heaps for the help guys
  16. this is some chick that wouldn't take the nice way out so i had to tell her the hard way
  17. that's when you just say unless it's a chick and unless they're going to give me head i aint playing shit for ya
  18. ps i feel for you man.
  19. i know i shouldn't laugh but it's funny how people react... granted i lose my shit at people and ban them from my equipment to limit this from happening but everyone knows with my equipment you break it i take something of equal value to you(not necsesarily monetry)
  20. yeah unforunately i need to get some r'n'b and pop too
  21. yeah gonna do that too but does that have each genre or is it all together?
  22. fucking aye, unfortunately i don't go looking for gigs as i don't have a set sound and i like to be flexible in what i play but i hate requests... so as of yet i haven't played alongside any big names
  23. hey all got a gig at the end of the month and in need of some songs for it. so as the title says what's some good tracks that you'd expect to hear if you were out, or would want to hear. the first part of the night has to be mostly commercial stuff but after that it's all sweet and can do what i want
