i'm not promoting the use of such things but if you download a torrent you can select the files that you actually download, so you could in theory download just the keygen
  2. i've found having the people that hire you to have a list of songs they like, getting all them on a list and then if someone requests give them that and tell them only songs from there can be requested. alternatively tell them they can't request songs, only the people that hired you can! or finally fuck off i'm mixing
  3. yay more cards... i kinda use them for 2 promotional purposes if anyone wants to get in contact with me i put my dj name and number on the back
  4. ok i'd forgotten about this thread, i ended up getting one off ebay for just under 400 including postage, i've had a fair bit of a play with it using it live, have to get send/return cables either made or diy before i can use it to it's full potential i guess. i'm glad i got this at the price i did, eventually down the line i'm getting a djm1000 and when i do i'll look at getting efx1000's but for now i'm happy with what i've got
  5. ah hahahahaha i've actually hit myself with one and i know it hurts
  6. i think it's because macs and pcs use different sample files- vst's and something else
  7. yeah i agree with skank; i thought i could mix well with cdj's then i went back to vinyl and relearnt and it has improved my mixing heaps
  8. give me more decks, need atleast 6 for my live act
  9. welcome
  10. bastards i've just been recording my mixes and leaving them at that
  11. all computers supplied with an os in australia have a sticker on them with the serial number/product key. rather than have a serial limited to a cd, they allow you to make copies of the original cd and put the key to the computer
  12. hahaha any one know where i can get some cheap trussing and dodgy wiring
  13. well when they do i'll show them my e reciepts for all my songs, all my original cd's/vinyl's. if a format shifting licence is cancelled after 2 years, the holder of the cancelled licence is allowed to keep all copies of tracks made within the period, if cancelled before; all copies except for the original must be destroyed. dennis i respect the fact that you are trying to help people and make sure they know what is the right and wrong thing to do; you've been dj'ing for over 30 years so you should've seen the club and mobile dj scene change several times, it's people such as yourself who should be in communication with copyright and broadcasting agencies to try and protect the dj's whether they be old, young or just starting.
  14. caleupe send some new ones my way
  15. ah so i was right, cool. i love handing out business cards, got rid of a huge stack yesterday. oh and i had a huge head ache this morning, felt so dehydrated... fell asleep with the heater on
  16. i thought you meant business cards... upon further inspection i realised you were talking about having a different hand of cards to be dealt out
  17. awesome more cards
  18. i'll try it later when my head doesn't hurt so much
  19. beat matching is definately the most important skill you will ever learn then phrasing
  20. some places it's electro then tit's and ass music (RnB), breaks, DnB, Dubstep, Trance it's all over the place, alot of places now have request dj's so you hear the same shit over and over again. a gig i'm doing tomorrow night i've gotta play pop, rnb, electro, rock, before i can play anything even slightly un commercial
  21. it's good the weather's a bit up and down and the scene doesn't know what it wants, but other than that pretty good
  22. if there's less blue i'll get AAAANGRY!
