depending on the cd unit it can act as a sound card, or if not you would use your sound card that you get with the program to play the sound to the mixer

yeah the problem there is you need to buy a power stepdown transformer for each unit, and even then the frequency is out of sync, can easily start adding up to more real quick. unless they are like some gear that has a voltage selector switch

there is a lot better out there, and because pioneer got the major club contracts for cdj's around that time the technics never really developed any further

i've used these once and they feel nice, having on board effects are good, but they are expensive being technics, whereas denon have the same look and functionality at a cheaper price

i watched the tutorials last night and all you do is press and release the button, move the platter either by scratching, small directional movements or by spinning it backwards. the cross fader comes in to play from normally being in center, move it left or right with the appropriate button pressed or little stabs

i don't understand how you can beat match if you can't adjust tempo. and yeah caleupe i know there has been 2 other threads but they were when the game was just all talk

i saw the control unit yesterday and read a bit more about the game from the box and it's mostly aimed at hiphop/scratch, as we've all seen there is a turntable with three buttons there is also a mixer attatched to it with a cross fader effect button and knob. what are peoples thoughts on this
